On 30+ drop backs, Kentucky pressured Bo Nix two (2) times.

Gotta think that’ll be pretty different this week

Sounds like the offensive line did a good job of protecting him on their first game together.

PFF did grade the OL out really well on pass blocking

But UK doesn’t quite have the same athletes on the ends that UGA does

They did an excellent job in pass blocking. Hopefully they will get there in the run game. I liked that we saw pulling guards again. It will give our backs someone to follow instead of waiting for a hole to open.

According to SummerofGeorge, he was pressured 6 times on 30 dropbacks, which is still pretty good. UGA will definitely put more pressure on Nix, but not a bad first game for a brand new OL

How is that a not-fun stat? Are you implying Bo sucked last week and he wasn’t even under pressure?

I'm expressing concern about how much we can or cannot take from Bo's phenomenal downfield performance last week given the lack of pressure put on him by the UK rush, especially versus the defense UGA's about to put out on the field

real vote of confidence, reading the OP and defaulting to the dumbest possible explanation, thanks a ton

I like this stat line better so I'm going to assume this one is more correct

Jesus what a pessimistic way to look at that stat. UK’s defense is supposed to be pretty good no?

Given who OP is, I have to say fair approach.

I mean, they're okay. Finished 34th overall in defensive SP+ in 2019, but that's also good for 10th in the conference. Georgia finished 1st overall. That means Kentucky beat out State, OM, VU, and Arkansas.

Kentucky's two-deep at DE/"Buck" had 2 RJrs who were low 4*s and 2 RFr who were 3*s (one of each starting)

Georgia's two-deep at DE/Jack, on the other hand, has two mid-4*s starting, 1 Sr and 1 So, backed up by two 5*s, one So and one Jr.

I know that there's more to pressuring the QB than the DEs, but I'm not sure I've seen anything to suggest that UK's defense is anywhere in UGA's ballpark.

Hence the concern.
