I should add, people who risk millions like Laremy Tunsils by smoking are dumbasses. For example, I would never smoke as I like my job. I still think the law is stupid

I haven't met someone who has a physical addiction to weed though. I've seen people with psychological addiction, but that shite was going to be there by weed or something else

An addiction is an addiction no matter which way you try to spin it. But yes the law is antiquated and should be changed.

It isn't "spinning" anything. Physical addiction is a quantifiable, and measurable change in biochemistry. The green stuff, according to all current research has minimal to no affect on physical addiction.

Psychological addiction is completely different type of addiction. It is like people addicted to playing video games. It isn't the activity but the person's personal health risks that cause it. Fascinating but less understood.

Is food physically addictive? Because food addiction is medically treated these days.

I have never in once in this thread said that marijuana is physically addictive. I don't think there's any evidence there is. I have no doubt, just like most other habitual behaviors, that smoking marijuana can easily become mentally addictive just like many other "non-addictive" substances.

I completely agree. Which goes into my argument that the law is silly considering we don't outlaw food/video games/ other activities.

I don't touch the stuff and don't want to be around it. Legal ramifications are too much for me. I think people who are for keeping it illegal are hypocrites unless they also want to outlaw alcohol, tobacco, caffeine etc

One of those three is not like the others. I'll let you figure out which one it is.

Trust me, when future employers run your background checks, previous illegal substance arrests will have NO EFFECT on your job prospects!

Unless your job requires a government security clearance...which the majority of jobs in the area we live in do.

Sure, Walmart can look past some drug arrests. Try to get hired on with a big company like Boeing, Nasa, Lockheed and you are SOL.

Not really worth it IMO.
