Offord is open to the highest bidder. Florida has a ton of available NIL.

I think we end up overpaying for him.

Also more worried about Oregon than Florida.

Amazing how long you guys have been talking about him. I dont check in daily to this thread but a few times a week. Wouldnt you think he would have flipped or decomitted by now? If he does, dude played the long game like a pro....

Remember a dude named Ryan Williams? He said Auburn ended third for him.

There’s a whole new layer to recruiting now.
The recruiting staff will develop a relationship with a kid who doesnt quite fit in a class just in case he develops at a Lower level school.
So when it comes times to transfer you have a bit of a head start with them.

So we're not the wing man come bar night but talking to less than uglies before closing time.

(been there - nothing new under the sun)

I call bullshite on Ryan Williams saying we were third. Every time a big recruit committed to Bama or Georgia over us he would prove his worth to the rival fan base by saying we Never had a shot. George Pickens, Kool Aid, Evans and several others did this. We got outbid by Bama

I saw the way he was smugly enjoying Auburn fans cheering "We want Ryan Williams" on his OV. He was never interested.

It also isn't accurate, FYI. I think Beach is looking at the differences between the On3 industry versus their On3 individual ranking, and thinking those are before/after rankings.

Jared Smith was 121 in the On3 individual (not industry) rankings before. He's 120 today.

Shull actually dropped from 26 > 38.

Winters was 142, he's still there.

Derrick Smith dropped from 60 > 104

Nate Marshall 120 > 94

Antonio Coleman dropped 169 > 209

I think the rest were basically the same

On3 will not allow Auburn to have a top recruiting class. They will continue to drop our guys every year to keep us in the top 10 but outside of the elite status of top 3.

I disagree, has no one saw the video where he was asked about committing to Alabama over Auburn.

In the video he said " i was ready to commit to Auburn at the end of the (2023) Iron Bowl if everyone rushed the field, when i saw Alabama pull off the 4th and 31 i knew i could never go to Auburn".

I am paraphrasing a little but that was the jest of his statement.

Don't know if it's been posted but Kromah is visiting this weekend and Loy posted that his original crystal ball pick to Auburn may wind up true after all if things keep progressing

That isnt what he said. He said he was relieved Bama won because he knew Auburn would be expecting a commitment if we won.

Many were fooled by Chex but he is always wrong and was wrong just last week.
