73 and 77 are our biggest problems. FG kicker. Keionte Scott regressing

Big ole problems across the board so I dont even know where to start.

I'm not a Harsin fan at all but that offensive line wasn't winning 10 games.

NFL talent all over? Besides tank and a kicker, who else? A DB or 2?

4 DBs and Derrick Hall. And the linebackers, even though McClain wasn’t drafted due to his height. But he’s better than any LB on this team besides maybe Riddick.

He's probably selling insurance by now.

Just so I'm clear. Freeze is doing less with less or more than Harson had?

Freeze is definitely doing less with more right now.

He has more than he had last year and beat Arky and state handsomely. He squeaked by Cal and played Bama well until he fricked it up.

I would say 2021 Auburn had more talent and continuity than this squad though.

This year sucks if you had any hope that Freeze was the guy. I did, and there's no way to spin it other than mismanagement. But 1) i don't trust anybody at Auburn to replace Freeze with someone better, 2) we have to give any coach we hire time to right the ship and that probably means promising 4 years at least, 3) we are within Freeze's 4 year window and he is definitely improving the talent so no reason to blow his rebuild project up and start a new 4-5 year project.

The really bad news is that next year's team will be young, if talented. Freeze is going to have to work magic on the LOS through the portal and find maybe 2 impact wide receivers. And of course a QB. He hasn't done great with the portal so far.

I am beyond bullish on our young guys so much so that people believe me to be a Freeze stan. I just believe the sophomores are going to become leaders and the Cam Coleman, Riddick, Simmons, Harris and so on are going to be ready to be so much better. We just need to get to next year with the talent we have now, keep the recruiting class together, and add transfer portal at the key positions we are missing. I believe we can be a 9 win ballclub from there. And then we are going to be ready to take off.

I could be wrong, and it will be another year off the contract, and then the buyout will be no big deal. Only thing I worry about is Hugh playing his hand, claiming recruits want to see stability, thus we extend him before he even earns anything.

Just for the record I dont lead into seasons expecting to win 10 every year. I literallly bet Chex last year that we would win less than 7. I think the necessary ingredients are getting added in, and all we need now is a good QB. There is a path forward.

We'll need stellar development of our mid young o-linemen and some portal dawgs on the o-line on top of a qb to compete next year. If that's ignored it's not gonna matter and he's probably being bought out in 2026

This team doesn’t know how to win. There’s not one or not enough team leadership to pick this team up to finish out several of these games.

So Freeze is off to a worse start than Harsin with more talent. That's reassuring

He must read the sports page. That's where he saw we suck, and Michigan is the better option

So mismanaging Jarquez wasn't part of the reason?
