There is a huge difference between 70-75 to 95%. 95 percent RPO is Nick Marshall level good with the zone read.

Smuphy thats what I heard on the podcasts. It was DBs and receivers saying the guy is making the reads, but its also the ball placement that is killer.
By halftime of the Baylor game no one will be worrying about the QB position.

I would be SHOCKED if it looks as bad as it has so far in Freezes tenure. Too any variables have improved for that to happen. The FLOOR for this season should be 8-5. Anything worse than that with a healthy team would show that Freeze is a Fraud.

James Ash has been mentioned every time Freeze has addressed the press. If he and Brockton can lock down the 3 tech I’m gonna get excited.

Trivia, Jack Nicholson did not know his older sister was actually his mother until he was 37 years old. His sister was unwed and pregnant and his grandmother agreed to raise Jack as if he was her son.

Sounds like Mabson had a good day yesterday and has had a good camp, especially for a freshman.

Perry Thompson is getting every opportunity to grab the bull by the horns. He’s run with the 1’s for 2-3 practices already. This first week and half will tell a lot for him this season. If not getting the proper depth on routes, missed assignments, doesn’t show effort when he’s the 3/4th option then Fields and Turner will jump him. The staff really doesn’t want to put Turner in big time situations but he’s proven himself to be a player but we need experience on the offensive side.

One of the things I’ve observed in the camp film is something that J Arnold is doing that we haven’t seen on the Plains in several years …. a QB that doesn’t telegraph his receivers

Thorne had some decent stats so the 70% doesn’t surprise me, it’s just that the 30% of the time he made the wrong read was in clutch time or inside the 20 when we needed it most. He just never had that dog in him. I think (read: Hope) JA does.

Mix and match on the OL. Too tall has been taking some reps at RG. Wade has been taking snaps at Center. No I don’t think this is anything other than break glass in case of emergency.
Once we get into game prep I expect everyone back at their true positions
