AU Football just posted some practice pics, and there is one of Bryce Deas -- that guy is a monster.

We're you talking about this one? (#16 top pic). Dude looks like he has that "might not be all there", in a good way, defensive mentality. That is probably reading way too much into a practice picture, but I'm rolling with it. He is our crazy linebacker this year.

You can really see the excitement in him when he talks about the LB room, which gives me a bit more confidence in that group. I felt like that was our biggest question mark going into the season.

I am loving Coach talking up Malik Blocton. He's a guy that kinda surprised last season. Came in kinda under the radar as a 3 star true freshman and the staff brought in several DL transfers to shore up the rotation.

What did Blocton do? Just worked harder, beat out some of those transfers and got good playing ti.e as a freshman. I hope he has a great season because I've been a big fan of him since he got to Auburn.

WJOX just said that Singleton, Coleman, and Perry Thompson were all in non-contact jerseys this morning. They were just in helmets, so no pads/hitting anyways, but worrisome that all 3 may be banged up. They said nothing was major as far as they knew. Said Singleton banged knees with someone in a one-on-one drill and that was the only one of the 3 they knew which body part may be hurt.

Also reported the passing game looked horrendous. All this was from a Nathan King report. I looked and the only thing I could find was a link he put on Twitter, but the article is behind a paywall.
