Tilly couldn’t throw strikes or get outs. He’s our number 2. How is that mismanagement?

Myers basically salvaged our bullpen for the weekend by eating 6 innings.

CCSU batters deserve some credit.
They delivered multiple hits with two outs and recognized the umpire’s small strike zone.
I only got to listen, but radio commented about the strike zone(for both teams) being limited.
On to the Hatters!

How many crews work these regionals?
Is the home plate guy always the same?

Same crew but should rotate each game.

It is what Tilly does. Doing the same thing and expecting different results is not being a good coach. If u want to win game 1 without your Ace use Chat!

Stetson seems like a gutsy team. Hope our guys come ready and Dutton has his stuff popping.

He has been our most consistent pitcher all year. The bad thing is we burned him for the weekend in Game 1.

I think Tilly had one good outing that I can remember from the LSU series and that’s been it.

We can complain about Tilly but we are going to continue to need him. And will probably need him Sunday if we can win tonight.
Depending on how much lactic acid buildup Myers had after pitching we might could get an inning from him if we had to.

for a #1 seed, you should pitch your worst starter game 1. That should be the easiest W.

Tilly is our number 2. Means he’s second best not the worst. So all the newbies watch 1 game and know better then Butch how to setup the rotation for the regional.

The radio broadcast brought back memories.
Sports on television before the 1980s was a treat.
Strangely, the Auburn football broadcast are not as quality as they were in the 1970s. They don’t really paint a picture like Gary Sanders and Gusty Yearout did back in the day.

Tilly is our Saturday starter. That doesn't make him our #2 guy.
Dude has hit 14 guys in 46 innings. He has walked another 28. He has started 6 games and come out of the pen 12 times. That is not the numbers of a #2.

I wish you knew half of what you thought you knew.

This newbie faced more big league pitching than you have fingers.
