4* DL Keldric Faulk announces July 5.

The next 2 weeks could be huge for Auburn

Some recruiting tidbits:

— Darron Reed makes his decision on the 4th of July, but according to Clemente Auburn isn't expected to be the pick, but he's not ruling out Auburn entirely.

Quotes from Reed:
quote:

“Compared to the other schools they’re up there,

quote:

“But it might be too late. They came in a little bit too late.”

quote:

“But, I mean, it’s still possible I go here,” Reed said.

quote:

“It’s a great school,” “I could get developed here. All the coaches, I loved. The love that they showed me, they showed they really want me.”

He has three crystal balls: one for LSU, one for FSU, and one for tOSU with LSU being the most recent.

We started recruiting him when Eason was here but he said by the time Brumbaugh started to recruit him he had already developed relationships with coaches at his other top schools so it was too little too late.

— Dukes posted it's down to us and Florida for Ja'keem Jackson he said Auburn made up a lot of ground fast.

— made final 4 for Tony Mitchell along with Bama, UGA, and A&M

Clemente posted 3* WR target Lamar Seymore decommitted from Miami and is a name to watch.

Caleb Jones posted Keldric Faulk sets his commitment date for July 5th at 11 A.M and it's down to us, Clemson, Florida, and Florida State

Auburn made Top 10 for 4* OLB Braylan Shelby

No chance with Seymore or Mitchell. Maybe with Jackson and we should get Faulk unless something goes sideways before now and his commitment date.

Where do you think Seymore is headed?

I think our WR class is most likely going to be English, Prean, and Poole.

Guys I think we’re in good shape for that commit soonish:

4* RB Jeremiah Cobb
4* DL Keldric Faulk
4* QB Brock Glenn
4* WR Karmello English
4* DL Anthony James

I tend to think Jackson probably commits to UF. That’s more of a gut feeling than intel. And I tend to agree that we’ve got the longest odds of Mitchell’s top 4.

Bag the 5 above and this class has a surprisingly strong base headed into August

*one note on Seymore, he basically singled Auburn out as a school that’s offered since his junior year ended and that talks with him everyday.
Idk what it means yet but I thought it was interesting

Pitt. They will sell him on being the next Addison.

Agree barring Michigan pulling something when English visits tomorrow. I'm still holding out hope my guy (Malik Leverett) gets an offer too. He can play S too, so if he doesn't work out at WR we could move him, but still nothing on that front.

I agree with this list, but Brock Glenn has me a little worried. He said he might delay until after the Elite 11 now. A lot of going to depend on Austin Novosad and if he sticks with Baylor or goes to Oh St imo. I still lean towards him picking us for now though.

Could be, but he's similar to JC Hart who I think we are in good shape for, so I'm not too worried about this one.

I agree and we need to land them imo. We need other recruits who are on the fence to start seeing who they could be playing with.

Naquil Betrand is likely to flip to us from Colorado on his official visit.

6’7 OT but Auburn wants to use him across the DL

According to Caleb Jones (ATCJ)

I don’t know much about him other than his scheduled visit. Clemente did also say he’d get a first look at DT.

He picked up offers from A&M and UGA after his commitment to CU

JLee talked about this. He expects Betrand to decommit from Colorado during the visit. He will decide between Auburn, Kentucky, and TAM but he doesn't expect it to be anytime soon.

Caleb Jones is supplying much different information then.

Apparently the staff wants to use him on DL and commit is “likely” “soon”

“A little more on Naquil Betrand, who said he was 85-90% sure he was flipping from Colorado and that it was 'likely' to be Auburn.“

Can’t wait til Caleb runs off to 247 or ON3. It wasn’t long ago when I was bringing up Clemente and y’all were like who the frick is that guy

Jeffrey just posted a new War Room.

Apparently they are off DL Anthony James, or at least he isn't a take as of now.

Not surprising at all - it was a huge red flag that this kid from Texas "decommits" from A&M and somehow his top schools are Washington, Utah, Auburn. He was clearly dropped by A&M.

But this sheds even more negative light on our inability to build recruiting momentum, because this kid was supposed to make it "ok" that we missed/will missed on so many DL in our region.

Welp, there goes our future chance at winning National Championships. I'm sure several of the Clark supporters here will be devastated.
