Pink posted that Cincinnati transfer WR Nick Mardner is down to us and Cal and will have a decision Monday or Tuesday after he talks with family

I don’t think there is a Power 5 school that could care less about football than Cal. I used to live in the Bay Area. They are 100% about their pro sports there

I think maybe Marcus Davis wants him from his connection at Hawaii and that’s probably the only reason we have talked to him. We’d probably rather have Green from Okie St or Trevez Johnson from Florida.

on3 randos speculating on a new possible qb that is better than sanders that could possibly transfer to us. From what i understand he might not even be in the portAl yet so it’s kinda hush hush. and that’s basically all I know. gotta love how some days these paysites are Raining information down on us. and then there are others where we have to seek out our own clues and HOPE. i can’t wait until i can punt on3. at least tell me where the qb is from or something.

Yea I think it was just as simple as they outbid us for him or were just willing to give him more than what we valued him at. They are doing a very good job when they prioritize someone with their NIL right now.
