Jang and that Coach fellow needs to pony up more of that NIL money so Bucky can reel them in.

He knew he had no OL or WR worth a damn.

This. Anyone without orange and blue glasses on can see Auburn has 2 of the worst units here, and it has to be fixed before anything else. Freeze has worked hard on the Oline. Need some WRs that can get open and catch the ball now.

Seeing no improvement in those two areas is the reason for that though and guess who that falls on? Harsin.

Yep it does and the coach before him at those positions. You bet. Like I said I am not excusing Harsin at all for his failures because they are many. And if that is what they are meaning then I agree, but Bo was leaving once it was known Lanning and Dillingham were Oregon he had a place. My point is it wasn’t because of that last meeting they had with Harsin.

Dammit weagle you made me break my promise.

Bo staying might have meant Harsin lucking into a 3rd year…

It all worked out. Time to move on from both.

While I agree we dont have a receiving corp reminiscent of Bama years of past, I dont think they are that bad.

Can that many kids ranked pretty well in high school be that bad? Or is it lack of scheme, route trees, a QB and a decent line to give him time to throw?

And ask yourself honestly, with spring looming in two weeks, you have a year of eligibility left, Auburn still does not have a QB or OL.....would you bet your receiving career on us? I think we will probably roll with what we have and call it a day.

Not sure this was shared or not

LSU Freshman Linebacker DeMario Tolan Enters The Transfer Portal

Listed on LSU roster as 6'2" 222 and was a 4 star out of HS

quote:

On the smaller side now, but should only get bigger once working with a college strength staff. Likely to eventually carry 225 pounds or more. An athletic linebacker with a highlight tape that pops as he has spent the past two years flying around making stops behind the line of scrimmage. Quick to trigger. Sifts through traffic with confidence and a sense of urgency. Ability to change directions and pounce on a ball carrier is a strength at this stage in his development. Also excels in coverage as his instincts lead to pass break ups and his foot speed allows him to keep up with tight ends and bigger slot receivers. Doubled as a running back at different points during his high school career and found some success moving the chains with his competitive nature. Multi-sport athlete that was a district qualifier in the 110-meter hurdles. Son of two veterans. Carries a high GPA and is an honors student. Will need to get better at finishing off tackles at the next level, but is viewed as one of the top off-ball linebacker prospects in the class of 2022 given how he moves and hits people. Projects as scheme-versatile defender that likely won’t need to leave the field in passing situations.

I mentioned it sometime yesterday. It’s notable because Auburn maybe finished second in his recruitment just a year ago

We offered a Portal WR that entered the portal just today

Jamari Thrash from Georgia State

Jamari had a big year last year.

Update — he’s visiting.

He’s a 4* WR in the portal, one of the top WRs available.

Keith just posted that WR Jamari Thrash is visiting today.

This staff is really doing a great job. Will need to close on some of these guys, but the news so far is positive.
