It’s just common sense
Auburn is looking for transfer QBs. McCall won’t work academically, Leary chose Kentucky. That seems to be the 2 they were interested in out of the guys that have entered the portal.
More QBs will enter as bowl games finish and Auburn will likely get another few on campus before the deadline to enroll

There are QB's who behind the scenes have indicated that they will enter the portal after their Bowl game. These moves aren't all random or "unknown".

There are QBs on teams in bowl games that are expected to enter the portal once those games end. Some are starters, some are backups. I named one that’s a starter that’s been rumored to be looking. Not sure what the confusion here is

I know... I was mostly being facetious. Those "insiders" are trying to get subscriptions and some people here (not you Jones) need articles to copy and paste for street cred.
