I think Freeze and the staff are recruiting really well, especially in terms of effort and energy. They’re closing battles and moving onto other targets which is great to see.
Harsin’s last staff also went from a cellar dweller class to like #13th at one point on ESD before it ultimately finished #21 a few months later. Recruiting finger and all that shite took off. They were almost all defense dudes that were willed to Auburn by guys like Zac but nonetheless, I just wouldn’t base much on this class. It’s a tough spot to be in.

4* QB Marcell Reed seems to be waiting to see if Auburn ultimately offers. Sounds like he understands they may not
Tough to read interview with Clemente. He’s obviously interested in Freeze and Auburn but there seems to be some question m about whether auburn is really interested or not

Baylor DC Ron Roberts is the newest rumored name for Auburn’s DC. At quick glance, I don’t see any guys committed there that I remember Auburn targeting

I have to say, early on, it seems to be pretty positive with recruiting in such a short amount of time with the new coach. I might be a sucker, though.

I’d say things are going well. It’s just an incredibly tight window. If this class doesn’t transcend where we were last year, I wouldn’t look at it as a negative. If we catch some breaks it could be considerably better

I’m pointing out that Freeze is going to get where Harsin did but in only a month, and if that the ranking isn’t much different, wouldn’t hold it against him.

So what are your thoughts on a QB, I think its obvious from a number's standpoint we have to get one in the portal, someone who is ready to play, regardless of how Ashford performs, you cant go into the fall with one backup who has never played a down.
So who would you guys pick if you had a choice and why?
On another note, I see we are doing an in home with Knight, we desperately need linemen and he is a good one, so beggars cant be choosers, but I didnt realize he is entering as a grad transfer so he is one and done. Id assume we are limiting these type guys, cant be rebuilding a program every year.
