On the bright side, we're "Less Boring" than Bama.

anybody who says we are boring in football hasn't watched us. We can blow leads with the best of them. You never know what you are going to get from week to week. "Most roller coaster" I get. "Most boring"........hell no.

Auburn football is a lot of things, but it’s nothing if not entertaining.

I think everyone on this board has shaved a year or two of their lives watching this program through the years.

I agree, I just didn't want to see it consume a few pages here, because I could see that happening. Wasn't bothered by the content at all.

Ok let’s discuss recruiting then. Anyone got anything. Nope, thanks.

We’re trying harder this year tho, correct?

A-Day is Saturday and a list of confirmed and probable visitors will be coming in the next day or so. Otherwise, the last few pages have good recruiting information on it.

Being underwhelmed by information doesn’t mean it’s not getting added here.

As for the validity of Janga’s post belonging here, that’s up for everyone to decide. Having a boring arse team on a circulated graphic on social media certainly doesn’t help recruiting.

I’d personally like to see it in its own thread because of the entertainment value but it doesn’t hurt my feelings either way. Just don’t complain about there not being recruiting things to discuss because it’s buried or because you haven’t been paying attention to the updates.

I wasn’t supporting the idea of the other topic in this thread just that there is really nothing much to discuss. We still aren’t getting commitments. There have been a few normalish deadlines set over the past few years.

End of may 5-7 commits
End of August 12-15 commits
End of October you should have between 18-20 ish commits and know basically who you really have a shot at going into early signing period.

Or are we gonna play the excuse game again this year.

I’ll just say this since we can’t get any OL in the portal we better slay it in high school players this year. And any dumbass head coach should be able to get 6 good and high 3 to mid 4 star linemen with ease at Auburn.

Jesus Christ dude. That survey was so absurd it didn’t even deserve it’s own thread.

I thought it was funny. The talk about whether the post belongs is more disruptive than your post ever was.

That’s my point

What excuse? We do usually have a couple more by now. But Bama also has like 2 right?

I don’t really value when recruits commit. Bama will end with a top class. We won’t. And when guys commit won’t matter much for either program come NSD or ESD

KN asked 4* OL Clay Wedin if he would be in town for the A-Day game. He said unfortunately no, that he will visit Miami to meet the new staff. Then he said if he comes back to Auburn he might not leave again

He’s been considered by a lot of people to be an Auburn lean. And his comments continue to signal that.

My best friend!! Someone finally figured out tone on here.

If I’m coming in hot I’m bringing hell fire and fury. If I’m not doing that it’s generally jokingly or tongue in cheek. Unless it’s just informational.

There now you know me. And I’ve been playing nice lately. Been laying off the low hanging fruit and shiny hooks. Been crazy busy. Thought this was really gonna be a good year for my team. I’m down 1 series and got the back end of the second series tomorrow night. Should have won the first series 2-1 but dropped it 1-2. Down 0-1 in this series so might be the first time in 9 years since a team of mine missed the playoffs. Lost a senior pitch to injury earlier in the season and now lost my second baseman having to go to the JV to pluck a middle infielder because my shortstop is now one of my top 3 starters. I’m in panic mode lol

Dukes @247 says 4* S Terrance Love may be in commit watch this weekend. He’ll visit for A-Day

Also said that between the last big recruiting weekend only a few weeks ago and the rumors of Big Cat weekend returning in May that Auburn will likely focus on a smaller group of top targets this weekend than a massive gameday type of list

KN said something similar a few days ago too. Staff won’t have as much time at A-Day because it’s so fan oriented so they’ve prioritized other practices and spring games

Also visiting this weekend:

4* LB Dee Crayton
4* WR Karmello English
4* LB Troy Bowles
4* TE Jackson Bowers
4* RB Jeremiah Cobb
4* OT Isaiah Robinson
4* OT Shamurad Umarov
4* S Terrance Love
4* S Jordan Castell

4* DB Khai Prean
3* DT Josh Horton
3* QB Brock Glenn
‘24 4* CB Kaleb Beasley

Probably more to come but everyone is saying the staff is trying to organize a big cat weekend in May so probably not too many more notable guys I’d guess
