Not great odds when in reality we need 6-7 High school OL

Yeah we are going to have to hope for a fairly big JUCO/transfer haul this year I'm guessing.

We are apparently not pushing super hard for Lang right now either. Still recruiting, just not pushing for the commitment.

So lets say we end up with Joiner, Lew, Hughley, Johnson and Wilson (Which are basically all of our remaining targets at this time). That still leaves us a couple short plus we need 2 or 3 OL ready to step in and play day 1 next year.

Take Lew or Hughley off that list and it starts looking not so great.

Jt33 don’t be getting all negative on me. You gotta pump me up. I can get to negative on here.

The optics is too funny: who is the kid that committed to South Carolina while at Big Cat?

And is it true he wanted to play OL but we offered DL

Remember when we were worried about "only" getting Hunter Osborne out of all of the in state linemen? Heady times those were.

Is that the shivers kid?

Oh I think South Carolina is trying to flip Love as well. More great news I guess.

I’ve never been that impressed with Osbourne. And I support all the HT kids

On the positive side Collins, Smith, and Russaw in state haven’t committed anywhere, yet. So we haven’t completely struck out, YET

Two different players. Betrand is the guy we offered at DL that looks like he's trending TAM and playing OL.

Shivers is who picked SC after getting an offer at Big Cat. I've seen some things that said he might have been a silent for them before even making the trip.

CB Ricky Gibson from Hewitt-Trussville offered today.

Georgia most likely the leader if it's a committable offer.

Man we are really on top of the in state kids.

I will see if I can find out anything on Gibson since the Auburn offer.

Been hearing this offer was coming for a while and Auburn was high on him.

Also I'm surprised most of you are not upset since he is just a 3 star

Unlike other positions, Auburn has loaded up on highly rated targets in the secondary. So they can afford to take a chance on a 3* at that position.

He plays at a high level high school. Has the measurables.

But if Gibson and JC Hart are the 2 corners in the class I wouldn't call that winning on the trail. I'm sure both have some things they do well and in 2-3 years can be solid players.

At this point we need bodies to fill out the class.

that doesnt always equal success. Yes its better than a 5 star whipping up on a bunch of 1A schools

He seems like a good kid and could be a good piece, as for waiting until now to offer I guess they had higher ranked kids.

With Zac recruiting him and him being Karlos Dansby's nephew we should close the gap quickly.

Playing against better competition you can evaluate much better. He’s a 3 star. 3 stars all over the conference play. Problem is you better have 4s all over the field as well.
