Assuming 4* OT Hughley jumps on board followed by 3* C/G Lew, I’d say I’m happy so far. We’ve missed some guys that seemed like good options for us too though

They should see that immediate playing time in 2023 and/or 2024. Auburn has a lot to sell at OL in terms of playing time going forward.

I think we’re also a lock to take a developmental guy or two. 3* OT Genorris Wilson and 3* OT Jatavius Shivers are the likeliest right now, IMO.
I think Vysen Lang could join the OL class. Not sure he’s ready to decide yet so that’ll continue to be a battle.

And then you’d want another guy in that top higher floor group like DJ Chester, Ramil, or someone of that level. The staff might have to target another flip candidate at tackle to get the guy they need. And we’d still likely be looking at a transfer OT

Totally agree Jones. However DJ Chester would be more ready to contribute next year as opposed to Ramil. He has a high ceiling but he has a year or so before he’s ready to compete at the SEC level. And also agree we will need one Juco or transfer OT. If we are able to get the 6 or so high school linemen

Things went well for 2024 4* edge Sterling Dixon. He said it was important for him to be at BCW following recent Bama and A&M offers. He said he wanted to make sure the coaches knew how he felt about Auburn.
Auburn offered UR S Keion Dunlap from Enterprise
4* RB J’Marion Burnette made the trip with his coaches. He’s been to Auburn a lot. He might be one of the top RBs in the class by the end of the 2024 cycle
4* DE Willis McGahee IV was on campus. Haven’t seen an update from him but I know the paysite guys talked to him

I’m intrigued by the 2025 edge (soon to be DT) kid from Opelika; Autry.
As of now, it’s between Auburn and LSU — and it’s sounding like he might be a fringe 5* player.
