Puckett not hating but we’ve seen that before.
Kid definitely throws a pretty ball but there is more to it then just arm talent

Hey guys, let’s not psycho analyze a clip. Great throw but defense could be in a shadow drill.

All the comments on it are just roasting Puckett…

I get the sense that people are trying to will Holden into becoming some kind of cult hero and he hasnt really done anything. GoCrazy's post is perfect for the thread but there have been some starstuck golden holden comments that I dont get.

JT33 was worshiping him last year but then the season started. If we had better than Ashford we would've used him. Harsin was trying to burn eligibility everywhere.

Btw does holden put a ton of air under all of his deep passes? He did that during the first scrimmage as well.

if that's your ride or die you earned my respect if you're right. If youre wrong then he is nothing more than your wasted energy.

Yes that is proper unless the WR is wide open. On contested deep passes put air on it hope your guy makes the play giving him a chance to go up and get it or box the defender out.

You're not wrong lol. I said in HS I thought he had a legit argument for being the top QB in the country though. I don't just say that about anyone or all of our recruits. I honestly just think he's going to develop into a really good QB. Still think Thorne is the man for this year though.

I don't like the guy, but Russell Wilson in Seattle started doing it maybe better than anyone I've seen. He would throw that thing to the moon before it came back down.

Edit- It was Ausberry.

Folks that follow GA HS football like Geriner. He was Bobo’s guy

He won’t be the first talented HS QB to do nothing in college. I think if he sticks around Auburn he’ll have a good chance of starting eventually. Like jt33, I don’t think it’s this year. Also haven’t seen the fanfare for Geriner that’s been described here but that tracks with this board. One or two posters with vocal opinions quickly gets turned into a mob amongst storytellers around here

Thorne has a strange throwing motion but still fluid just not much over the top. It looks familiar but I can’t put my finger on who’s throwing motion it’s like.

I’m willing to be surprised. I’m sure you can find examples if I’m wrong

Been thinking the same thing. I can't make up my mind if there's a tiny hitch there or what. Its def a little different though. Not much, but just enough to notice if you're looking for it.

If Ashford beats Thorne then he’s made the leap.
I’d love that

He’s easy to root for. Seems like a great kid

Whoever wins, I’ll feel much better than last year knowing Ashford only had to beat out Scooter. Hell, I even like what I’m seeing from Hank Brown.
