We "should" be somewhat concerned about every single position until it proves worthy of not being concerned about. Its not like we have some track record of winning lately.

At the beginning of the season, Id like to know how many SEC/Auburn receptions our starting line up has?

It's not about bringing up concerns... it's about constantly being negative. You're the worst I've seen on here. I mean how can you justify it in this instance. You argued one thing, then someone gave a counter argument. So, you pivoted to a different argument just to keep the negative spin going.
Not only that... you continuously go to the "sorry i hurt your feelings" and "weak minded" when anyone brings up your constant Debbie downing. For god's sake, get some new material just to be remotely interesting for a change.

Its all I have done was get involved with the discussion. I am sorry if I am not running around screaming 15-0 ship every thread or talking about what new receivers we have that are gonna have 2000 yards receiving or that we can win the West this year. I dont see that so I am not going to state it. If you were around much, you would know that I have not pinned for many things here but what I have over the years has been pretty accurate.
But if you somehow think that a brand new receiving corp, made up of transfers from other conferences, who will be more than likely catching passes from either a mediocre transfer from Michigan State or the mental midget we had last year who could barely complete a screen pass, will be able to light it up against the 5*I secondaries at UGA, Bama and LSU, then I just dont know what to tell you sunshine. It may happen bt for now, it should be a concern.
I did not state my initial concern accurately and metafour called me on it and I agreed with him. But most cant understand the concern I had.
Other than that, I will change my material from sorry I hurt your feelings to you can go frick yourself. I would not want you to feel like I was drowning you in my old material.

Aldridge said in his interview "he had some personal issues to deal with but Im not going to broadcast that". Have no idea what that is, but whatever it was, it sure seems to have sorted itself out.
Good for him. Boy was a difference in the room this year, and the coaching.

One of the things Freeze expects from WRs is reading the offense and adjusting their routes. ie Dante Smith made a living reading the blitz and cutting across the middle right behind the blitzing LBs.
So I expect more separation with the receivers, but also some errant passes that were not inaccurate as much as the WR or QB not making the same read/being on the same page. But it should be a lot more exciting and times when receivers are absolutely open.
To Lanier's point, with all these fellas new to each other, as well as a totally new scheme, its gonna be exciting and frustrating til things get settled down.
Lanier Im with ya, Im an ole fart too, I stood in the student section til the bitter end of that 42 to nothing beating Tenn put on our arses, a very sad day on the plains.

I have stood there through so many of those, I dont even want to remember them. Tons of new unexperienced parts out there. Yes they may have played but not necessarily in this situation. Our league has gotten harder and harder over the past 10 years. And it will continue to get harder as we add these new programs. We need to keep up.
All of us are excited about the recent recruiting success. We have a couple 5 star guys now. Hell, UGA probably has over 20 of them. And most of them have played some together. WE are still a long ways away. Hopefully we can get there

Don’t believe I said I wasn’t mad… thought I said I don’t hate. If I did, my apologies. I did say it is frustrating and it is. Everyone also keeps making it about WRs, but I have stated it isn’t about that.
It’s about knowing the spin of his posts even before the post. I also apologized for the personal nature of my post. But I, like anyone else that sees any positivity in the direction of the program, is weak minded.
Have we played a game yet… obviously not. Even the weak minded can see that. But how can someone see only negatives in what the new staff has done in their limited time? Because the coaches of the past didn’t perform. It just doesn’t make sense.
Again, it’s about the constant drum beat no matter the topic of the program. I just don’t get the constant negativity and backhanded compliments. I’m thankful for that.

Unlike you , I am not apologizing about anything I have posted. Its not a popularity contest here. Its a place to discuss the program. You are just making yourself look like a fool now. I have constantly said how impressed I was about the direction of recruiting. Constantly. I have been very upbeat on Hugh since we hired him. Though I cant say I was 100% on board at first. I am impressed with him so far even though its a small sample
You dont know shite about how I look at the program. I do have concerns and will until they show themselves nothing to be concerned about. I have probably been to more Auburn games in and out of town that you have seen in your life dude. I have been around this program for over 45 years as a fan. I have seen some shite.
Stop your whining about fans not being 100% positive about everything. Some of us has suffered in and out for a very long time. Including the last few years which have gave us nothing to be positive about.
And until there is a positive direction on the field, nothing else will matter. If you dont get the concerns me and others have, you just are not paying attention.

I thought we were gonna have thread to bitch about each other. I mean we are all grown folks I think each of us can have our own opinion about a multitude of topics.
Anyway tomorrow is nut cutting day. Time to separate the men from the boys, the pretenders from the contenders.
