Peagler is an OT that had a good senior season and got an invite to the north-south all star game and reportedly played well. I looked at his highlights and noticed that his HS competition was pretty wimpy but his highlights from the all star game were solid.

KN and Caldwell mentioned him as a name to know yesterday. It’s very unclear if they’ll offer.

I’m guessing the staff will look at OL transfers after spring and again after next summer. They’ll also need to couple that with a large class this year to bring some resemblance of balance to that position group.

Is KN staying or is he moving on after the official signing day in February?

Who knows. Jason has been much more active in recruiting which could mean he’s moving on, but Keith has also picked up steam over the last week.

My guess is that Keith told Ron that he’s burnt out and looking for another opportunity outside of recruiting.

Were getting thinner along the DL. This 2023 class sets up well to make up for depth as it’s DL heavy in AL + GA but we’re probably going to be bringing in transfers and JUCOs again. Auburn offered a ‘23 JUCO DL yesterday.

Part of this was bringing in Jayson Jones and Thanos at DT. That was always going to be problematic for guys down the depth chart I suppose

I wonder if they’re able to enroll him still? Anyone transferring to auburn has to wait until summer.

His cousin is there which we touched on

Have you heard anything on Citizen? I read that he might be leaning LSU now. I hope that is wrong.

KN said yesterday that AU is still thought by some as the team to beat. Also know that UF and LSU both think Auburn is their main competition.

Citizen is purposely trying to keep things open so I wouldn’t believe anything suggesting he’s leaning. He’s working hard to keep it a secret

So the advantage Mizzou had on Hopper is that they could enroll him still. They expect him on campus soon.

He’d have to wait to come to Auburn

Dont think that was it, looks like Mizzou's late start date helped them here.

But keep on being negative. Some of yall here cant see anything but Negative for Auburn. Hell you are just as bad as the bama "fans" who want to fire Saban after every loss.

Randy is probably the most negative poster on here, but in his defense there’s not a whole lot to be positive about especially in recruiting. The most optimistic viewpoint is “we will have to wait and see if they can turn it around.”

Late NSD is next week. This thread is dead compared to 3 years ago at this time.

Well that's not true at all. When things are good I ride hard. We are winning the natty in basketball and I'm already planning my tournament travels. Football is a complete disaster though. You call it negative I call it realistic. I guess time will tell and, as much as I hate being wrong, I hope I am in this case.

ESD has changed what NSD is. Almost
90% of kids have signed by now so what’s left is really just a drop in the bucket to what’s already been done. I’d like to see it just go back to one day in February.

Anyway, there’s just not a lot to report on. Auburn is pursuing less than a handful of guys right now.

3* OL Jalen Farmer — UF commit that Auburn has been recruiting really hard since November. Bama just offered but he seems down to UF and Auburn

4* RB Citizen — Probably down to LSU and Auburn with UF also involved. Auburn people seem to like where they’re at.

3* DE Jack Pyburn — announced a top 2 of AU and Miami but he just got a UF offer so he’s visiting them this weekend now. Unclear how that changes things.

Auburn isn’t pursuing Caden Story. Woody might not qualify and might even be headed to JSU. Doesn’t look like Auburn will offer Anez Cooper.

That’s basically the story for every program. They’re looking at 1-3 guys for this signing period except for places with brand new coaches
