I heard the same thing during recruiting and about how far behind we were being 12th in the SEC and 64th nationally. Then close to signing day, we could see we were going to do pretty well. And now we are around top 15 with another recruiting date in Feb to add to it.
So, the same on the QB. I don't beleive for a sec that Harsin/and Davis onboard now haven't already reached to the QBs they are interested in who have declared.
And all the rest that War Room thinks we wait till after bowl season....well that ends in 2 weeks. Not that far to wait.
I will trust Harsin. And we know he is not one to allow any 'rumors' of what he is actually doing to get out to the media. He plays it very tight on this stuff.
He knows what he wants a lot more than what we know about QBs...

A guy who was very much a back up option for us, Maxie Boudoin, committed to Tulane today. I'm guessing Sledge and Mbaa we're enough for us to pass on him. Nothing lost, but I figured I'd add it to the thread anyway.

Its too hard to keep up with dead periods, so I usually have no idea when they are until someone says we are in one.
We should have brought them in before the dead period then like other teams did.. I guess then you have the issue of not having an OC hired yet. Which brings us to being behind.
