Going to be interesting to see if the recruitment of our WRs changes. Harsin has been after Clemons for a few years so I don’t expect that that have a huge impact for him. Not sure on the others

A little worried about Kelly and Jay Fair. I think this probably sets us back some with Antonio Williams since we’re battling Ole Miss

Recruiting is mostly relationships. It’s other things too and performance is critical but relationships are really important. Antonio Williams’ parents especially talked about their relationship with the staff. These things matter

That’s my take. But I don’t have any inside information. Our secondary and OL have looked worse at times. LB was awful for 2 quarters yesterday. Guessing there’s more to it

Yea that's on me for not looking at recent news. But with all of position issues we had on Saturday, how did that coach get the axe? Wow! Anyway, I sure hope we keep our WR commits and get the one from out West.

Clemons's family respects Harsin, were shocked by the decision, but trust him making the decision. Kiesau has had a major role in his recruitment and being offered. Sounds like there's nothing to be concerned about with our chances with Clemons.

That’s my take too. But I think we can forget about him committing sooner than later. They did like Williams.
Kiesau was a big part of Clemon’s offer at BSU but because it was 2020 and the staff turned over they didn’t get to know him well. The biggest part was that they really trust Uscher, the recruiting director. Sounds like they knew about it sooner than it leaked out.
Also sounds like Jay Fair is still locked in. He knows a lot of the coaches at this point

I like that he was an analyst at Alabama and shared a place with Lane Kiffin. He’s also been an OC multiple stops.

He has a long resume for sure. Coached a lot of NFL WRs as an OC and WR coach
