'23 4* DB Sylvester Smith was at Akron and it looks like that helped solidify Auburn as a top school. He says they'll be a major factor in his recruitment. Loved what he saw from the defense and he says Tank ran up to him after his TD and yelled at him "Come to Auburn"

i love Tank more and more. this is fantastic.

So much of the recruiting effort in 2021 is the ‘23 class. It’s kinda why I’m trying to help cool off expectations for 2022 because these coaches weren’t here 2 years ago.

And I’ll be the first to start bitching about it if the 2023 class ends up being a dud

good point on the difference on the 2022 and 2023 potential recruiting results.

But you know TJ, there is ALWAYS someone that going to beat you to being the first in the beeching column when it comes to our recruiting...

This is true. It starts earlier and earlier every year

‘ 23 4* DE Tomarrion Parker (Phenix City) reached out to KN @247 to make sure his recruiting profile showed that he was interested in Auburn Current #100 player next season

KN took that opportunity to do a quick interview. In short, Parker visited for the Akron game and now plans to be back for the UGA game and Iron Bowl. He expected to leave the state for college but now Auburn is making him reconsider that.

‘23 4* DL Yhonzae Pierre spent most of the day with Parker and also plans to be back a lot this fall. He’s another top in-state target for next season

We’ll find out I think Auburn is in good shape with several.

‘23 4* DB Dale Miller will visit Saturday

4* WR Antonio Williams will OV for the Iron Bowl.

Auburn would take him and Clemons both if both wanted in. Williams is probably going to Ole Miss, though.

‘23 4* S DaKaari Nelson will visit Saturday too.

Those two plus ‘23 5* CB Tony Mitchell.

4* QB Tanner Bailey will visit for the Alabama State game. He’s an Oregon commit, Auburn legacy, etc.

I’m not sure how much it means just yet

Not recruiting related but I have a friend taking their kid to the game tomorrow to experience Auburn to see if they want to go there. They are looking for a breakfast joint for gameday. Any suggestions?

At least they’re starting to get top kids on campus

We talking like early breakfast before kickoff? I think most places won't be open around campus. Most won't open until like 10-10:30 outside of like your waffle house, chick fil a, stuff like that.

Byron's Smokehouse has a decent breakfast, but isn't like world beating

The Hound has a phenomenal brunch on saturdays, but they don't open until 10:30 I believe.

Big Blue Bagel may be an option for them as well.

Byron's is probably your best bet for like a "traditional" breakfast. You can get all your standard stuff.

Big Blue Bagel is right at Toomer's. It is what you'd expect from a bagel shop.
