Yep his record in Death Valley was great. And obviously we’ve had so many high draft picks recently because of all the 5 stars for days he recruited.

Death Valley isn’t even point of contention. No coach had a good record in BR since the 90’s so it’s not like this is unique to Gus either.

Even if I cared to play along here, development and recruiting are two different things.

This is just silly.

I show Montravious Adams, Byron Cowart, and Derrick Brown. Three in eight years. For days indeed.

Jang sucking on Gus and Nix’s balls. I feel like I’m in some backwards realm. I don’t even know what to think about this world anymore.

Carl Lawson and Marlon Davidson should accurately be included.

The DL and DL recruiting has always been a strength of Gus’s teams and recruiting classes. I’m sorry I can’t get on board with dumb bullshite. See my post yesterday about insecure Auburn fans unable to say what Gus actually did right or wrong.

Bama and LSU best run in their respective programs history at the same time.

Yeah and they curb stomped us on the road and we needed something crazy to beat Bama at home.
2013 - Kick Six, if kicker had a little more leg they would have won
2015 - couldnt score outside a crazy double tip catch from Jason Smith , Henry ran all over us and won locked up the heisman
2017 - that was the one exception
2019 - needed the weird punt formation to trick Bama

LSU
2013 - lost by 2 touchdowns b/c Gus was still trying to figure out the team
2014 - won easily
2015- got curb stomped
2016 - needed a offensive PI in a game where losing coach was going to be fired
2017 - crap the bed in Baton Rouge
2018 - loss by 1 at home
2019 - loss again in Baton Rouge

No need to post UGA as they owned Gus.

Gus sucked against rivals, did ok against 2nd Tier SEC and beat up on bottom feaders.

I don’t understand the logic of discounting wins because the opponent suffered a bad beat. We’ve lost so many games because of stupid shite It’s not like the kick 6 awarded us 30 points. We were in position to win all of those games and something went right for us to win.

Yeah. And if Rodney was on staff right now, he’d still be cleaning up. My biggest and only gripe with Harsin right now is he didn’t go out and hire some stud recruiters. He needed to hire a staff like Chiz did, and then maybe shitcan them later for some better game day coaches after the machine was rolling.

You don't have the power, and Jonesy is at the computer the last few days doing this for all the times his recruiting threads have been derailed over the years..

Who’s in the lead to win the QB battle?

Well MM said Finley looked as sharp as he'd ever seen him yesterday, Robbie sailed some balls and the "other QBs" made some good throws

I suspect Friday will tell the story, but reading between the lines here from an old Auburn hand not prone to exaggeration, it sounds like he's preparing his readers for Finley to be the guy.

When Calzada is among "the other QBs" that presumably include walk ons and an 18 year old, that's not really ideal

The video 247 put up, all of Finley’s passes were high and the receivers had to stretch for them. But he did complete a few deep balls. Robby looked the best on the short/intermediate throws. Calzada was pretty bad.

With all that said, give me Robby’s athleticism and let’s ride.

If it’s really gonna be Finley, that’s good news for me…. means I don’t have to give a shite about auburn and can just enjoy football.

Was he hitting people in stride or were they often waiting a wee bit for the ball?

Honest question.... never really how to interpret intensity, drive, and timing in a practice clip.
