Well we start conference play with Arkansas. That should be fun. Their basketball program and Muss are quickly rising up my list of teams I actively root against

If any of you happen to have any eligibility left, and are currently a full time student at Auburn: LINK

NBA 2k23 dropped last night.
Jabari - 78 ovr
Chuma - 75 ovr
Walker - 71 ovr
Thor - 70 ovr
Jared - 67 ovr
That 78 overall for Jabari is actually good for a rookie to start off with. For comparison, Paolo is also 78 and Chet is 77.
The 71 for Walker still feels disrespectful. That places him as the 13th best player on the Jazz roster, and if you were to simulate a season at this point then he would rarely get playing time. To add insult, bc of Utah’s lack of real big, especially centers, the game has automatically made 72 ovr center Udoka Azubuike their 6th man, while Walker languishes on the bench. Even though Walker has a higher potential and IQ on the game. That’s unrealistic, although I know this will change once the season starts in real life and updates start happening

75, sorry it was early and I knew I was forgetting someone
Seems slightly low to me. I would’ve thought between 77-79

Bruce Pearl adds former Tiger Bryant Smith to support staff
quote:
Bruce Pearl has replaced one former Auburn standout with another on his support staff.
Bryant Smith has been added to the Tigers' staff as a student assistant, the program announced Friday morning. Pearl is also bringing in Geoff Gray, a point guard in the Israeli Basketball Premier League, as a grad assistant.
quote:
"We are so thrilled to welcome Bryant Smith back to our program," Pearl said. "It's important to add another former player on our staff, who knows what it means to be an Auburn Man. He was also a part of teams that made history throughout his playing career on the Plains. He will be an invaluable mentor to our players having once been in their shoes."
quote:
"The opportunity to pour back into our players is very humbling," Smith said. "I hope to use my experiences, as a collegian and professional, to help continue to mold them into great players and even better Auburn Men."
quote:
"I am ecstatic to be a part of this elite coaching staff and program," Gray said. "I have followed Coach Pearl and Auburn men's basketball for years. I could not think of a better way to transition into this next chapter of my career. I am very excited for the opportunity to learn from the best of the best in college basketball."

Yeah all the best football player hoopers weren’t terribly good at basketball and made wonder what they were doing picking that sport. Bowers and Dunbar and our guy KD Johnson would be HELL on a football field.

Didn’t Bill Parcells offer Barkley a tryout for the Giants back in the day?
