we do need an influx of talent. We are a poor shooting team. That must be addressed.

I get the vibe Flanigan is gone gone but Jaylin maybe not

I get the same feel as well. Flan just seems ready to take a shot at the league. Jaylin has no shot at the league. I still really like Jaylin in the role he had last year. Off the bench/role player.

Roster turnover incoming. I have no predictions on who’s coming going but I know the same thing won’t be on the court next season.

I love all these players but they are exhausting to watch.

Kinda hoping Holloway is starter quality at the 2 but who knows. Don’t have any idea what our staff expectation is of him day 1. We’ll see how he does in the McDonald’s game

Less than an hour after we made 4 shots in an entire half and missed 10000 free throws against Houston's backups with a chance to get to the Sweet 16 and possibly make a deep run in the tournament and you guys are already well into a reasonable discussion on next year's roster?

Do you even melt bros?

Isnt he only 6'0? We already have small Wendell on the court. I'd love to have the ability to put Westry at the 2 and let him run there some. Get me a 6'3 guard that can stroke it and we will have something cooking.

Exactly. I’ve expended more than enough emotional distress over this team. I’m ready to get hurt by next year’s team now.

Getting to the tournament and defeating Iowa was icing on the cake for me. I have not liked our makeup of the team for a while now because we were missing pieces, so the transfer portal is exciting to me.

Just like Bruce we are full steam ahead and getting ready for next year.

For those interested in message board sauces, not an insider from On3 (who actually is a guy with connections) said to expect a lot of changes with the roster in the next week or two. Not exactly groundbreaking considering there’s already guys in the portal and almost everyone’s seasons are over.

Also Bruce said he’s “onto the next play” and will be recruiting tonight.

Covid year guys I’d say good luck if you don’t want to try the G league, over seas, or transfer them not sure what to do.

That includes players I really like Jaylin, Al, CMo, and stretch. That’s why I was so surprised we didn’t hit the high school recruiting hard enough this year.

Personally I don’t see how you “cut” KD or Wen since you had them transfer in and that is definitely not Bruce’s style.

For me the only toss up is Yohan. Do you take the time to maybe get something out of him as a Junior and senior season or just be honest and let him know it’s best to look elsewhere.

I haven’t even seen flashes that make me think Yohan will be a high level player.

Be of the day one way or another I think we will add Holloway + 4 others as well as bringing a couple of a these key guys back. Could definitely improve the roster overall with portal and keeping the right guys. Intrigued to see what we do

I think with Yohan you keep him on but have an honest conversation that we are always going to be looking to improve our roster.

We know Bruce is very good with evaluating and getting high school kids. Let’s see how it goes in the transfer market.
