being an Auburn fan in attendance and beating a one seed and then hanging around and watching alabama lose as a one seed would be amazing .

Houston is about as bad a matchup as this auburn team could have on paper but they’ve been a little sluggish lately. And shooting better from 3 solves a lot of issues

One thing I did want to brag on KD about is how much smarter and in control he’s been on offense this back part of the season. I need him to not have an aneurysm after every made shot and get back on defense, but on offense he’s been so much better.

There were numerous times today that he get the ball and I thought to myself, old KD is driving that into traffic every time. But instead he read the situations and waited on help.

I think everyone's bracket is. UVA and Arizona made sure of that.

Auburn lost to Richmond in the first round in 1984. I don't think it was 64 tourney yet.

My guess is that Saturday will be like 50% Bama, 5% Maryland, 15% Houston, 30% Auburn

Auburn HC Bruce Pearl on SG K.D. Johnson: "He giveth, and he taketh away. And he's been giveth-ing more recently."

Lmao

Yeah he's starting to look more like the KD of the first half of last season

IDK about SEC pride

I have no SEC pride since this conference screwed us in 2004. ((USC vs OU vs AU)

Every PAC12 coach voted USC #1.
Every Big12 coach voted Oklahoma #1.
Only 2 coaches voted Auburn #1 - Tubs and Houston Nutt.

Screw all of them. I hope they lose every game until the end of time.

Is it just me or were there a lot of empty seats during the game last night?

I was there and the uppers were packed almost from the tip. That makes sense because that was most of the Auburn fans since we didn't know we would be there until Sunday. The empties were mostly Houston fans but by the second half they were all there too and it was pretty well full throughout the whole gym. 17k arena and I'd estimate 12.5k AU fans were in there. Great atmosphere.

Correct, the field expanded in 1985.

Massive win yesterday for excitement going into next season. We might play Houston close too with their injuries and having home court.

Somebody in the Athletic department better keep putting on Playboi Carti for KD so he can be locked in on the bus

Whatever KD has in his playlist must be elite

Agree. A healthy Houston team is an awful match-up. With the game being played close to home against a beat up Houston and I think we have a solid chance
