TNT also messed up the graphic. We are 10-1 in first round games. in 84 we lost the first round. I can't remember if the tourney was still at 32 teams or had been bumped to 64 by then.

It was a late crowd. They open the doors to the arena until about 25 mins before tip because they had to clean up from the bama game that started late.

On top of that I would bet most people just came after work and parking was obviously brutal.

Not sure if B'ham had the same problems but when I went to Greenville last year I was in line 15-20 min before the game and got in with like 13:00 left in the first half. Just pure incompetence from whoever was in charge of logistics. The line was a quarter of the way around the arena.
