Pretty much. Stidham is either the biggest idiotic eeyore on the planet or a fan of another team doing a shitty job of trolling. Only shows up when things go bad, MIA otherwise.

It’s Bruce’s worst team since 2017… and it’s gonna go 9-9 in league play.

Sometimes you roll the team out there and it just doesn’t work out. Feels like this team is either one great player or a couple good shooters short. You add either of those things and this team is probably up there with Bama/A&M competing for the league title. The margin can be small in basketball between an average team and a good team. For instance look at the 17/18 Auburn team before Mclemore went down compared to after

36 is a great spot considering. I’m not sure it’s mathematically possible to fall below 40 with bammer and UT up regardless of what happens.

I think we are in unless we get blown out twice and then drop a game against an Ole Miss or South Carolina in the tournament.

Just win against Bama and/or UT and we are solidly in. Probably a 10 seed now with a win could move to a 8/9

Yep, if Westry and Yohan were even 3/4 of what we thought they would be we would be in good shape right now. Unfortunately they aren't even playable. Having two top 75 players (one a five star) be first year busts is not something most teams can easily recover from.

Look at Arky with and without Nick Smith for another example.

We are who we are nothing much is changing until we have some roster turnover

More like 2021.

Even Bruce said this team’s ten would beat the other ten.

Yep, hopefully Bruce hits the transfer portal hard this off-season. Need some small forwards and 2 guards with size who can shoot.

If we get blown out by both, then I think we drop to 40s-50s depending on other play.

We need to steal one somehow and then win a couple tourney games

But I feel like the conference tourney is irrelevant based on past seeding

We’re a bubble team right now and some people are acting like the whole program is falling apart all while praising Bama at the same time. Most chicken little shits I’ve ever seen.

alabama’s about to cruise to two sweet 16s in a three year span while we’ve haven’t gotten there since 2019.

Yohan is a huge bust. What’s worse is Bruce didn’t have a backup plan. The only reason Yohan signed with Auburn was because Will Wade got fired.

This is college basketball. It doesn’t take 3-4 years to turn over a roster like it does in football. Bruce can turn it around quickly.

He’s doing a great job with some guards these next two classes but now we need some big men.

This kind of post is why no one takes you seriously. You make a possibly true and normal claim that Traore is a huge bust… you follow it with an incoherent claim. Backup plan for what? You don’t think we would have taken a transfer 4 if we didn’t take Traore? He committed before the tournament was even over

No alabama or Auburn fan alive would’ve bet that in late March 2019 Alabama would go on to more Sweet 16s than Auburn would five years later.

The programs have flipped and it is embarrassing.

I’m saying didn’t have a highly ranked high school target on our radar.

Taking below average transfer players is exactly while we’re so bad at the moment.

This is just weird to me. I am not embarrassed at all by Auburn’s basketball program right now. You seem to be a little too worried about what Bama is doing. They are having a good season. We also had a very good season the year after 2019 and last year

We took a transfer player just last year and turned into a first round pick. Samir Doughty almost helped us win a Natty. Broome has a chance to be all SEC this season.

You can win with transfers even if you strike out on upper level high school guys

I guess we have different standards for a coach of Bruce Pearl’s caliber. Losing by 40 and the way this team plays offense is embarrassing. Not to mention how last year ended.

Agreed about yesterday but that was one game. It’s just being overly emotional to view Auburn’s basketball in a negative light right now as a program.
