Not sure if it was ever mentioned in here but Cardwell and Flanigan are both "testing the waters", and have entered their names in the NBA draft without signing with an agent.

I'm convinced it's a very good thing to do this.. you get a chance to have weaknesses exposed so you know what to work on. Unfortunately for Allen it's just as simple as getting a handle on the dern ball again.

Clemente from Rivals says Phillips just left and loved the visit.

Bruce Pearl is leading the charge for Phillips and he thinks “its going to work.”

He says Phillips doesn’t have any more visits planned.

Shouldn't this pretty much always be the case with basketball recruits? Especially ones of that caliber?

Pretty sure Steven sealed the deal with Kessler and has a lot of authority with the portal. He was also the primary recruiter for Okoro according to 247.

Phillips quotes from 247

quote:

“The visit went great,” he said. “Everything from the facilities to the campus is really nice. It was a lot more than expected being my first time to be in Auburn.

“They are definitely one of the top schools I am considering right now,” Phillips said. “I have got a pretty good relationship with Coach Pearl and the rest of the staff. He showed me a lot of what the system would look like with me playing in it and it is something I could fit in pretty well.”

“I still don’t have a final group of schools yet,” he said. “I do plan to go home and speak to my family about the schools that have been recruiting me. This is the last visit I have set and I will see if I have to take any more. I believe I should be able to cut that down soon.”

Phillips won’t rule out take an additional visit. “That is still up in the air right now,” he noted.

Asked what stands out about Auburn, he said, “The fans are crazy, the facilities are very nice. Coach Pearl, his track record speaks for itself in terms of coaching and winning, and sending guys to the NBA. Everything is great.”

They have been positive. Stidham8 is the only one supplying negative vibes just because he doesn’t like the messenger that is supplying positive vibes
