Huh? What do you mean? He's 21 years old.
He's a defender and a slash scorer that the offense doesn't go through. He improved to I think 38% 3 point shooting this year up from 31% last season.

He found the corner 3 this season which has opened up the paint for Cleveland. But his efficiency is way up this season. All of that on top of his defense.
He’s not setting the NBA on fire or anything but he’s a good player right now even if he wasn’t good tonight

His 21, played 1/2-3/4 of 1 season at Auburn. Had a very good yr 2 in the NBA and they made the playoffs for 1st time since Lebron???
Hes one of my favs to have played at Auburn, ever. Wished we could have had more yrs.

Oh I'm not giving up on him but his efficiency numbers are in the bottom half of the 60 picks in the mediocre 2020 draft (partially because he's been relied upon more, but still). I'm pretty tuned into Cleveland sports and the fan base has given up on him. I'm worried they'll find a replacement for him in the offseason and he will move to a bit role. The shooting improvement was good this year, though. He was unplayable last night but hopefully he redeems himself in the next game.

there were 2 other starters with worse +/- than him last night so doubt he is the problem.

Okoro had a -9 in only 13 minutes (they took him out because the Nets weren't even guarding him on offense and it was clogging the lane). Darius Garland had 34 points and is their best player but had a -11. Are you implying Okoro had a better game than Garland?
I love our dude Okoro and think he will stick in the league but I'm just saying he's got a ways to go. Still very young. I think the Cavs uniquely are in a spot where they are gonna have to make some decisions on their wings next year so I wonder if Okoro will find a new landing spot in the next year, year and half.

I have watched 0 seconds of NBA basketball this year and have no idea what Okoro has done. However, he was -9 in 13 minutes. The other guys were -10 and -11 in significantly more time. The fact he only played 13 minutes after started is pretty much all you need to know.

I don’t think anyone is saying he had a good game. I just don’t think he had a bad season. And I do agree he’s got a ways to go

As Auburn fans we are happy for him. We see the upside however his progression doesn’t require our patience. His progression isn’t our problem.
I have not gauged Cleveland’s perspective of him. They may think differently than we do of him. I know he is getting roasted on Twitter.

I don't think being a starter on a playoff team, the most improved team in the league btw....is having a tough go.

He was never drafted to be a finished product by year 2, nor was he drafted to be a volume shooter & scorer.
That corner 3 will be his best friend in the coming years tho. He will be an ELITE 3 & D guy in the nest 2-3 seasons.

Actually watch quite a bit. He has started from day 1 because Cleveland has had a dearth of wing talent for 3-4 years. He hasn't exactly solidified the position though and was kind of exposed last night. One game but it was the fear Cavs fans have had all along about him as a long term piece.

With a long term piece, you have to play the long term game...they weren't expected to make the jump the did, but they did. He was a big part of that.
Just gotta be patient with his offense.

Yeah part of the Cav fans frustration with him is probably the jump the rest of the roster has taken. They have some really good pieces and appear to be setup well for the foreseeable future.
Just can’t have opponents defending him like this

Philly fans say the same about Matias Thybille, other fans say blah blah blah.
HE made a jump as well, or else they're not where they are.

Maybe. Maybe not. You can pretend like you know for certain what’s going to happen but that doesn’t fly with me.

You think hes getting drafted? Sheesh. He has no left hand and no outside shot.
