People being frustrated at our inability to recruit good enough at OT. We might not have heard his name until recently, but we also led until his last UK visit which means they out recruited us for him. Whats done is done though.. Flax isn't changing his mind so there's no point in going on and on about it. Grimes is in make or break territory at this point and everyone knows it. Its time to let it play out and see what happens.

Quite a bit of smoke that Height flips to AU tomorrow. Reporters at 1 Miami site plus a good bit of their members thinks it happens. Mikecb from the bunker says 2 AU coaches expect the flip to happen also.

He’s been broken for a while. Just another typical year of shite Oline recruiting.

It’s more of people still amazed that Auburn’s offensive line recruiting under Gus/Grimes has been so awful. They suck.

-Kodi good
-Caddy seems good, but early.
-Defense is recruiting it’s arse off

And then...

There’s awkward Gus and grandpa Grimes heavy-handing the o-line and it has been a dumpster fire. It’s not even recruiting at this point, it’s attempting to not scare away recruits and their parents when awkward Gus and Grandpa Grimes enter the living room.

If only Gus/Grimes had the SEC west, Iron Bowl, beautiful Auburn campus, Deep Souths Oldest rivalry to pitch to a 4- star OL.

Gus is a primary recruiter on every position on the offense (including OT). We’ve seen it time and time again in interviews with the skill position recruits

Not taking away from Kodi and Cadillac but Gus does the heavy lifting there too.

You didn’t get the memo that Gus gets zero credit for anything positive and all the blame for anything negative?

There’s clearly something off with o-line recruiting. Gus re-hired JB. He owns that one and the shitty recruiting that’s come with it.

For sure. But he’s the key piece for every position on offense. We don’t get Tank, Capers, and Hudson without him

He’s the Head Coach.

He should get blame and credit for everything. In your post, at the strong points it’s just Kodi. Just Cadillac. At the weak points, it’s Gus and Grimes. Why?

KN says there’s increased optimism for Eric Reed signing with AU tomorrow. Cautions that it’s not a lock but it’s looking better

Kodi has done well recruiting receivers.

Cadillac is new but it looks like he’s going to get a 5 star RB.

Gus has heavy-handed the o-line recruiting per many different forums. Please share if you have any different info.

Doesn’t really matter, o-line isn’t recruiting, Gus re-hired a bad recruiter.

Gus heavy hands all of the offense recruiting. Period. He deserves blame for OT ineptitude and it’s not worth arguing further.

There’s more to discuss

Back to real recruiting...

KN has a chat going. Not much new information but he thinks AU takes a QB still but probably in February and potentially a transfer

It seems, in general, that Auburn’s plan isn’t to replace positions we miss on early NSD.

If we miss on Pegues we may not sign at TE this class

Unlikely. Plans to sign with teammates in February. AU still in good shape.

I know KN says we are in good shape...but I really wish he was inking tomorrow. UT seems to have a lot of optimism from what I have seen that they may get him since he is delaying. GRRRR the antics of CFB Recruiting! I need Valium.

I would love if we close on Tidol, Pegue and then 2 of 3 of Reed, Walker, Height.

How about big Tank! He’s a game changer we haven’t seen in awhile. A beast. Quit whining about OL

Show me a RB (5* or not) who can run behind a bad OL.

I'll hang up and listen

For the record, arguing over recruiting on the OL is kinda pointless until we get a new OL coach. And even then may not matter unless gus changes the way he recruits them as well.
