Very recent update on Troxell. His recovery is going well and still expected to play football. We are sticking him at LT though because we feel like Brodarius Hamm can handle RT duties.

2021 5 star and #1 safety, James Williams, said he loves Auburn. Has a great relationship with Porter as well. IB was his 4th known visit to Auburn. He will be back for Big Cat weekend.

4* DT Josiah Hayes OV’d for the Iron Bowl. He announces Dec 18 but he’s not an early enrollee. Top 5 of Auburn, Kentucky, OM, MSU, and Memphis

I really don’t know much about him and his comments on the game and Auburn were very complimentary but I get the feeling he’s going somewhere else. Could be that Auburn has guys higher on their board

4* CB Kendall Dennis will OV at Auburn, per KN.

Looks like George, Appiah, and Reed are higher on the board, though. IMO, I think it’s George for the last spot

Auburn is recruiting K Evan McGuire from Thompson as a preferred walk-on. Essentially, they’ll offer him that if they’re confident they can quickly get him on scholarship. Other SEC schools are in the mix there as we

We just need to start taking 2+ development OTs every cycle. If the NFL sucks at scouting college kids, we shouldn't trust HS scouting much more

We may not pump out steady All SEC guys from the development pool but have to imagine we wouldnt constantly be screwed depth wise at the position

Our OL scheme lends itself to big athletes that are raw at the position. It’s a niche we should probably lean into at this point. I think that’s what they’re getting in the JUCO guys especially

Unrelated to Auburn, but watch this HS punt and be warned you might jizz your pants.

Hopefully he's forming a good bond with Lee, Brooks, and McKinstry. That would be a pretty sweet haul on defense.

I would be so furious if I was the other team's coach.

Did my eyes deceive me, or did he kick that 80 yards in the air?

Adrenaline mustve been flowing on that kick

In the air was roughly 71 yards. 3 yards deep in his end zone to roughly the other team's 32 at 1st landing.

Exactly. I think OL and WR are the two hardest positions to project coming out of high school. We should be taking 2-4 OL every cycle.

Chad Simmons said an AU commit will get another star this week. My guess is Foster Allen. I've heard the most buzz about his play this year in terms of play exceeding ranking. Also an insider thinks Zierer will get a 4th star when juco updates are done.

Wondering if it’s Chris Thompson Jr since he’s rated pretty low by 247. I know they don’t like him as a DB but the offers and film says otherwise

Edit: forgot Simmons is at Rivals

It’d be nice to have a 5* in the class

ETA: I know it’s meaningless
