Guys not getting open or creating separation & catch issues after our top 4 WRs is a development issue.

Eh, to a degree, but really our top 4 struggle to get open. LSU had the same issues. Passing game wise, we really aren't much different than what they were under Miles. Unless the running game is going, the passing game is very easy to defend against. Drop issues is a developmental thing, the lack of separation I think it much more related to how we design our plays.

Has has the frame to bulk up and with some S&C, will add muscle and strength. He could be an elite OT with his athleticism and that is where I think he’ll eventually end up. And due to our recruiting efforts or lack there of, that is where we’ll need him.

I think it means we have 2 spots left now. Burks likely has taken 1 with a silent & the other goes to Jones or a GT OT if we miss on Jones.
There's also the JUCO CB who visited this week. Not sure how far down the list he is or what the latest news is, but I saw he had a good visit.

Frazier didn't sign he to play OL.. He's coming to Auburn because of how Chad Morris uses TE's. Just my opinion, but I think he would transfer before playing OL.

Frazer knows because of his height and good hands, he has a very good shot at playing in the NFL.

So many of the best TEs are taller than 6' 5". Gronk and Jimmy Graham are 6' 6". I think there are even a couple of 6' 8" TEs in the NFL.

If he just works out some more and gains some muscle, he's a lock for NFL.

At OL? He would have to learn too much and bulk up around 300 to even have a chance.

Where do these two fit in the equation:

3* OT Caleb Johnson. He’s a 6-7, 300lb OT that’s almost a 4*. He’ll probably get there. Kind of a late riser type. Says Auburn is his leader

3* QB Will Crowder - coaches have visited his school several times in January and KN thinks and offer is coming. I’d expect him to commit if it does

My point is I hope we land Bro Jones & develop some others so we don't need him at OT. If Chad is for real calling the shots on O I'd rather Frazier stay at TE.

I thought he changed his mind and said he was looking at Wednesday now? I think it was in KN's article about his visit.

Edit- It was Caldwells article actually.

I am still waiting for Joiner to convert to tight end. He could be an elite TE if we used him more in that position

AUstudent22, a poster on 247 that E references a bit says we are getting hit hard by Georgia negative recruiting over Coach Porter not being locked down, possibly leaving after NSD.

We need to lock him down

He is what 6'4 220 ish? That is not going to cut it at TE. He needs to add about 25-30 pounds and then maybe. Which...if he added another 15 pounds of muscle I would like to see him in the RB room and what he could do.

Or he might be locked down & UGA is just stirring up shite to save them with Jones. IDK but that's typical UGA tactics whether right or not.

Wasn't Porter also the one that stayed late on his visit? Sounds like some desperation fro UGA. Highly doubt we let a coach that may be leaving after NSD stay late with one of our top remaining recruits that we are trying to steal.

Yup. I haven't looked at 22's post but before this most AU reporters & connecteds didn't expect Porter to move.
