We complain so much about OL recruiting take a look at this group.

WR – Williams, Hill, Stove, Schwartz, Farrar, McClain, Jackson, Var Johnson, Sheffield, Hudson, Canion, Capers, Evans

So were you meaning to preface this list by saying we complain about the WR recruiting? I am more confuseder that I thunk

None of them were 5* talents out of high school with maybe Hudson being the exception (many thought he deserved 5*.) However most of those guys were at least 4*

Farrar, McClain, Jackson being the only 3*s among the group.

Yeah we havent really signed many ELITE ALL WORLD talents at WR but to suggest we are devoid of talent at the position is.... well.... wrong.

As I read it he was suggesting we have much less talent at WR than Bamas, UGAs, LSUs, and aTm. Guess I could be wrong

Got ya...I actually have no complaints about our WR recruiting. I have more complaints about utilization and development. With all things considered with our Offense...We should all be so lucky to get the guys we have gotten at WR the past 5 years or so.

KN says from what he is hearing it’s likely Gus, Larry Porter, Chad Morris, and Jack Bicknell that will be visiting Brod Jones Thursday night.
Any word on this?

Our problem at WR has not been the talent disparity.

KN said his sources are tight lipped right now, but he said the expectation is still Brod visiting this weekend after his basketball game.
Georgia assistants will visit him today. Kirby already used up his in- home.

Also interesting about the Brod visit: one of the coaches stayed much longer than the rest. Probably working out the negotiations. Yep

KN says Princely Umanmielen will NOT visit this week.

Praise the lord I don’t have to type that name again.

That could be great news. Don’t know why we would tell Princely no room if we have doubts about Brod.

If we miss on Brod, do y'all think we only take 26 and leave a spot available for an OL transfer? Or do we roll with what we have for 2020 and try to load up on the OL in 2021?

Princely Umanmielen won’t visit this weekend. We can probably mark him off now

KN signaled this yesterday.

This is what Georgia 247 is saying:

quote:

UGA is down to one in-home visit with OL Commit Broderick Jones before he takes his last official to Auburn this weekend. Matt Luke and Dell McGee will be at Lithonia today and stay all the way through his senior night basketball game before he arrives at Auburn later tonight. The Tigers used their visit on Thursdayw with lead recruiter Larry Porter staying the whole day we are told and also a visit from Gus Malzahn. This is a battle at the end and that is easy to tell. See where this is after this weekend and expect a final decision next Wednesday from him.
