Pegues, Dennis, & Webb could make decisions soon.

My gut is saying we only get Dennis. No analytics, no recruiting percentages...just plain gut feeling...

It’s not a bad guess.
Yup. Even though we lead with Pegues apparently Bama has started to push for him.

We could probably release Canion since he also likes USCw.

Auburn RB commit Tank Bigsby said he only took a visit to Georgia two weekends ago so he could watch the Notre Dame game in person.

They’ve picked up (their interest) a lot,” Bigsby said of Georgia. “But I just ignore it.”

We are making a big push for 4* McKinnley Jackson.

He thinks Rodney can make him better as a football player and as a man.

He likes the way we plug in young guys because he thinks he can play early.

He says CRG compares him to Derrick Brown.

He thinks Truesdell and Brown is probably the best duo in the nation.

He will be a late signing day decision

As said earlier:
Will OV Dec 14th-16th
Will UV DSOR and possibly the Iron Bowl.

Close with Jackson, Webb, Jay Hardy, now that would be a sweet DL haul.

It certainly does not hurt for Jackson to see Jaren Handy getting playing time as a true freshman.

KN put in two 2021 CB picks to Auburn:
5* WDE Dylan Brooks composite: 18th nationally
4* WR Julian Nixon composite: 101st “...”

Nixon is a 6’4, 205 pound receiver. Will be a tall target for Nix/ McLaughlin. Some guy put in a Nixon CB for Auburn as early as 2018.

KN has already put in a CB for 2021 5* DT Lee Hunter.

Our class already includes:
McLaughlin
Armoni Goodwin
4* Athlete Brandon Perry

In not so good 2021 recruiting news, Clemson & Bama reporters say Clemson leads for 5* CB Ga'Quincy McKinstry & have since they offered over the Summer. Clemson reporter Anna Hickey is close to putting in a crystal ball pick in for Clemson. He is Bo Nix's teammate from high school. We really need him to visit for our rivalry games to try to get some of the momentum back. He hasn't visited AU yet this season.

We don’t get 5* CBs ever. Even if there is a fire.

If he wants to go the ACC and play 1 or 2 real football games a year good riddance.

Per Rivals Trent Simpson flirting with UNC is a legit concern for AU. AU staff was unaware of his visit to UNC last weekend & that he went to the North Carolina/South Carolina game earlier this season. UNC has picked up momentum with him but still have work to do with his family.

4-star DE Jay Hardy visits Auburn, will return for official visit

Jeffrey Lee • AuburnSports

AUBURN | Four-star defensive end Jay Hardy
attended his first game at Auburn on Saturday.

Hardy, the No. 4 overall recruit in Tennessee, was one of several recruits to witness the Tigers’ 56-23 blowout of Mississippi State.

“It was great. The atmosphere was crazy,” Hardy said. “I liked it a lot. I like how the crowd was loud and the players and the coaches were into the game, too.

“I also liked Tiger Walk, the eagle flying and what the students did with the other team’s ball when they kicked a field goal … they threw it out of the stadium.”

Hardy, from McCallie School in Chattanooga, spoke with Gus Malzahn and defensive line coach Rodney Garner during the unofficial visit.

“I like Coach Malzahn and I like Coach Garner a lot,” Hardy said. “Coach Garner really knows what he’s doing. You can tell just from looking at the d-line this year and the ones he’s had in the past.”

Garner is a big reason Hardy has high interest in Auburn. He’s a big reason Hardy plans to return to Auburn for an official visit in December. It would be Hardy’s third visit to Auburn – he also visited last summer.

“I like Auburn a lot,” Hardy said. “I like the campus, the atmosphere and the coaches.”

Hardy took an official visit to Georgia Tech in September. He said Auburn, Tennessee, Florida and Georgia also will receive an official visit. The five schools make up his top group.

“I like Auburn, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Florida and Georgia a lot right now,” Hardy said. “It’s between them. I already have taken (an official visit) to Georgia Tech and I might take one more of my official visits during the season and then the rest in December.”

Hardy was on crutches during his Auburn visit as he recovers from a sprain MCL in his knee. He sustained the injury during a vicious illegal hit last Friday night in a game against West Forsyth (Ga.). Hardy hopes to return to action later this season.

“I’m doing a lot better now,” Hardy said. “They say I’ll probably be out at least three weeks.”

Hardy, who is ranked the No. 7 strongside end and No. 137 in the Rivals250, will graduate high school in the spring.

Can we not train journalism students to know what the bold word actually means.

If the hit was in violation of the rules of the game, this is the correct usage

The journalist may not be off on the wording. I haven't seen the play so I have no clue but Rivals is reporting that the kid who caused the injury is facing a lifetime ban of Georgia high school athletics.
