FWIW, Bert built some big, mean OLs with NFL talent at Arkansas but didn’t have the skill guys to sniff a winning season.

I just checked. We have 20 OL on the roster. Maybe our early season woes was due to injuries and Kam at RB?

You need about 15 scholarship OLs at a given time... given normal attrition, you need to be signing 3 or 4 a class.

Well 6/20 I think are walk ons so really just 14 OL.

Maybe, but my point is we don't need more quantity. Quality is important. With Putnam, it will be a great class.
