Tbh, I don’t mind that the program is walled off with little to no info flowing out... the problem is places like 247 and rivals fill the information gap with 20% truths/ 80% bullshite (I mean, these subs ain’t gonna sell themselves).
What we have are several people filling the public domain with a bunch of crap... just throwing stuff out there with no real clue what’s real... what’s meant to sway public opinion... and what’s just outright nonsense.
I don’t think I’ve ever been more disappointed with Auburn sports coverage.

You answered your own question in your post. Gus is completely walled off, and is intentionally the worst interview in the country. A program the size of AU has to have beat writers - but when they are given absolutely nothing, they have to create news. It’s their job. It’s annoying as shite because it reflects on AU, but these reporters are having to sell a product that doesn’t exist. So what you get is bullshite.

The subs were selling hot the past month I’m sure, but I doubt many will be happy with the return. I do like the Rundown by Tate and Matthews and that’s about as much insiderish as I’ll get.

I had to quit their podcast a couple months ago... Matthews constant bitching and Tate’s shitty Gus impressions were just too much.

Mark Murphy and Jason Caldwell are by far the best. I think they have better sources but really it’s more of a true ‘beat’ of Auburn. They are more plugged into the school as a whole even if not with people in the know. They also don’t run with rumors but report on actual stories, which is what a beat writer is - they aren’t supposed to be scooping news.

Not sure what Lee is saying but KN said it’s AU or Mizzou. Bryant to inform coaches tonight on choice. Gus has had full control of his recruitment and that Chip wasn’t hands on.

So he wants to be 800 miles from home instead of 200? I don't see the Misery appeal other than Drew Lock and the pass happy offense.
