Hate to be the bearer of bad news but Pappoe is already a UT silent. They will announce it publicly the day after their next loss or it will be announced after the Vandy game either way. Don't get much inside info, but this is legit. Look for new offers from our staff to LBs shortly. I imagine our staff will keep this quiet as long as possible.

Auburn offered a former Memphis commit and 3* LB last night....

Do we absolutely have to have this thread pinned? Board is getting cluttered with Bruce Pearl’s greatness. Time for cutbacks.

per KN and JLee, the new AU offer has nothing to do with Pappoe at all.

Honest question. If Gatewood is not going to get ANY looks in a game, are we even going to pretend he might have a chance at QB?

If not and he is a TE as many have suggested, why the frick did we recruit two TEs this cycle? He is far and away a better athlete than the two we recruited, why? So now we will have Joiner as an Hback, two new TEs (which means we will have them catch what a total of 1/3rd of a catch a season given previous touches), and Gatewood, who will transfer somewhere like GA, become an all american, an all pro, and we will sit here scratching our nuts wondering why we cant get recruits we need.

He's a true freshman who had an ankle injury early this year to the point he wasn't even on the travel roster.

Cool your fricking jets. Kelly Bryant will start next year and 2020 will come down to a junior and a sophomore in Gatewood and Nix.

Tenn and tOSU continue to recruit Zion Puckett but as of now he appears solid to AU.

Per JaVarrius Johnson Bama isn't recruiting him that hard. AU is pushing him to sign during the early period

All indications are that Charles Cross will end up at Moo State.

Even if we get Pappoe don't we still need another LB anyway? Also any chance it could be a back up option if we miss on Hall?

He did it to himself, there should be some personal accountability.

He or his agent should have seen the dangers of taking that job.

On a side note. How do they let him go and keep that rookie HC?

I guess the same way we're going to let go of our 2nd OC but keep our "offensive genius" HC?

Kevin Steele makes almost as much as Luke, so it’s a little bit different way.

2020 RB Roydell Williams commits to Bama.

No need for me to say what we are already thinking.. I don't know who's next up on the board.

Kingsley Eguakun is sticking with Miami

I think that might be an indication that AU believes they are getting Bell & Put am

I could also be searching for any silver linings at this point too...

KN says that Gus Malzahn will visit Luke Deal this week

Defensive coaches expected to stop by & visit Kalen Deloach

Offensive coaches expected to see William Putnam

Gus only allowed one in home visit so expect him to check in on commitments first then with top targets when it gets closer to early signing day
