Wondering if bigben knows anything. He seems to have the connection to that school

Rumor is that his hand had a broken bone and he tried to play through it. Will try to get you more info.

Dumb if true, he made the choice to sit behind Fromm. Plus they're a 1 loss team that's going to win the East. I could see if they were struggling....

Yep. He knew the risk he was taking by going there.

KN has some further info up on 4* RB Kenny McIntosh this morning. It's turned into an AU/UGA/OK battle with MIA fading hard. He has serious concerns about that program right now. However, it does sound like UGA is gonna be tough to beat. McIntosh told KN OL play is a huge factor for him & unsurprisingly he thinks order of OLs right now are UGA, OK & AU. Larry Porter is trying to get McIntosh to take an unofficial this weekend. If he makes that trip would be big for AU as he will then get a chance to see them 3 times in NOV as he plans to OV for UGA/AU & the Iron Bowl. KN thinks UGA is team to beat right now but isn't confident enough to put in a CB just yet

To continue the great news Wiltfong just CB'd Mark-Antony Richards to PSU. He took an OV there last weekend

Good news is he is expected on an OV this weekend at AU

Good lord, Penn State isn't long removed from one of the biggest scandals in NCAA history and they're killing it recruiting. These kids have short memories

With Penn St. not likely to make the playoffs, James Franklin is a guy that I'd kill to get here at Auburn.

Outside of the scandal, Penn St is one of the best jobs in the country. It effectively is LSU north between being only instate power, quality instate recruiting, recent Oil&Gas $, fan support + tradition

It would be extremely difficult for any college to poach a Penn St coach unless they had a unique "in" with the coach (alum/family/etc)

So Cain is our only hope at RB...sad. Our OL is killing us on and off the field.

Probably expected a Trevor Lawrence situation to happen where he'd beat out Fromm.

Unlike Dabo though, doesn't look like Kirby even considered allowing Fields the reps to beat out Fromm

I'll also add that they made some major promises to Fields in terms of building packages specifically for him. Trying to find the article but there's one where Chaney "consulted" Fields on what type of concepts he would want to run for them

Hard to know whats true or whats not true but Rusty has even said on UGA 247 that believes one of Fromm/Fields will be gone after this season

Hell, I would take Fromm. He is more moble than JS, and can process info quickly.

I got my serious face on. Can we steal Justin Fields.

He's seen what Gus can do with a dual threat QB. He posted this last Friday:

Justin Fields @justnfields · Oct 26 Control the things you can control...

I've read some UGA boards and they're nervous about him transferring. Talk about him being unhappy, broken promises, etc. Honestly, not that hard to believe.

Come to Auburn Justin.

Linking his latest tweet to Gus? What? That tweet has nothing to do with Gus. Am I just misreading what you are saying?

It was just a reference to my post.

There's no connection to Gus in it. Simply saying Gus has shown he can get it done with a dual threat QB.

The tweet may not mean anything at all or he might be indicating he thinks he should be playing more. However, many people do believe Fields would be starting if he went elsewhere, but he'd have to sit a year.

FWIW Tim Watts over at Bama 247 says that while Pickens recruitment is a battle he still thinks AU is the team to beat so that's something at least...

Finally. Some good news. He has matured a bit, and is a beast on the edge.
