I would assume because UGA and Bama are swapping to a DT system. That has cons.

Do we have enough guys targeted rn to finish with 24 guys on signing day?

So let's assume best case scenario right now. AU has 15 commits so add these guys to current list

4* RB Mark-Antony Richards or Kenny McIntosh
5* WR Jadon Haselwood
4* OG William Putnam
3* C Kingsley Eguakun or Kamaar Bell
3* DT LeDarrius Cox
4* Buck Derick Hall
4* LB Kalen Deloach

That's up to 22. After that my guess would be best available for final 2 spots

DT QB system. That carries some cons when recruiting WRs.

They might not be recruiting statues, but they're not dual threat systems. I would be surprised if Tua has 150 yards rushing on the year.

Yeah I could see the argument for UGA if you say they're thinking about Fields being QB but Tua is throwing it all over the field. Don't know how a WR would look at that as a negative

But Tua will only be there 1 more year. I think it’s a better sell to have a QB in the same class than to have one 2 classes older.

FWIW Jalen Perry decommitted from UGA today. Sounds like not a major target for AU tho. South Carolina probably the landing spot

Would not be surprised if JD Bertrand got pushed out too soon

Also KN says that Nehemiah Pritchett is having a really good senior year. Landed a Big 10 offer today that he's gonna announce tomorrow. VT offered him earlier in week. May be a guy AU ends up pushing for

Wanya Morris will OV in December. He was scheduled for the UT game but it got pushed back. KN says probably was AU's decision to try and get his last visit. Per KN he's "very firm" to UT.

Uh... wut? They are adding spread passing concepts and RPOs, that is a net positive for the passing game. Neither program is moving towards a Rich Rodriguez type run first spread DT system.

Lolwut? You think a spread RPO QB is gonna toss it more than a traditional drop back passer?

Updates From Keith:

Bamildele Olaseni JUCO OT plans to OV in December. Ohio State and FSU are teams to watch

3* C/Safety Nehemiah Pritchett's stock is rising. Nebraska and Va Tech have recently offered. If AU wants him they may not be able to slow play him if that was the plan. A lot of people raving about his play this fall and Kevin Steel apparently really likes him.

Rodney Gardner visiting some 2020 kids today one is RB Roydell Williams who is having a huge year

AU would take 2 RBs if they really like them but won't reach on anyone.

Feeling is really good for

4* OG William Putnam
4* LB Kalen Deloach (FSU Commit)
3* OG Kingsley Eguakun (Miami Commit)
3* DT Ledarrius Cox (Tenn Commit)

Lots of chatter going on about George Pickens and how solid he is. Staff feels confident he'll stick but others are starting to think otherwise

AU is recruiting 4* DE Curtis Fann. He could OV later this year

Not okay with Pickens being scared off. Kodi Burns needs his biggest sale of canned goods yet.

I would swap Hazelwood for Pickens right meow. Only school he will get in is Bama.

I would prefer Haselwood for qualification purposes, but that’s about the only reason I could come up with. Pickens has been a monster.

Sad but true. He needs to commit to Bama so they can get someone to take his ACT for him. Then flip back to us.

We have had 2 players not qualify in the last two years. Who was the last Gump that did not qualify?
