Jay Tate on his podcast mentioned that Whitlow was skinny early in recruiting and it wasn't clear he'd be able to play big enough at RB
Combine that with Whitlow playing multiple positions QB, RB and WR for a very small school that didn't get scouted much

Clark officially decommitted. I'm hoping we hear some more names pop up in the next couple of weeks.. after the last game we definitely have a good pitch to any targets.

Agree. Funny enough, our Tackles played really well. I didnt think we’d struggle in the middle

Been out of town all weekend so sorry for lack of updates. KN basically stated that AU dropped Clark & his little "secret" trip to Tennessee appears to be the company line on why. I suspect that AU either feels better about guys like Webb, Putnam or Bell than a lot of us do or there are some new names about to pop up on the radar

Not sure if KN didn’t get a huge response or what but the reactions were pretty slim pickings

Thanks. Wonder why they made the article VIP? I remember last year and maybe other years you could read the recruit reactions articles without being VIP.

There were some comments from Fromm and Deal that were positive, plus a ‘20 and ‘21 guy that were positive. Just nothing earth shattering.
Other KN notes:
- Bama DL commit Eboigbe gonna OV to AU. Garner is working him pretty hard so he’s keeping an open mind about AU, doesn’t seem like a flip candidate though
- Hall is OV’ing at FSU right now (awesome). His OV with Auburn is set for LSU weekend. No time frame for commitment (I’m guessing sooner than later due to his OV schedule)

I never said we didn’t want to keep him, and in fact I said everyone (that would include AU) would still want him. I talked to these two guys, and the guy who trains both of them several times this Summer. Their trainer works with former UTk/Falcons player:

PRO WELLS - TCU
KING MWITUKA - Troup County was a

Driscoll was fuuuuuuukkkkin awful. The worst of our whole group. Some of it could've been just not knowing assignments but particularly in run blocking he whiffed several times. I thought he was decent in pass pro. Horton was pretty awful too. IMO both will be good for us this year, but they'd better not follow up those performances with similar ones in the next 2 weeks or else Troxell and Ashley comin in.

FYI Rusty confirmed that Jadon Haselwood was at AU game tho he keeps hammering that Miami is the real threat. Also says Bama commit & Haselwood's teammate Rashad Cheney was there too
Bad news is 2020 5* ATH Arik Gilbert was expected to go to AU game but ended up at Athens. Fact he chose Austin Peay game over Washington makes it clear where he's headed right now

UGA chases stars. But they really are building a mountain over there which will put them on a level with UAT talent wise. Where we are falling way behind is OL and RB. I sound like a broken record. In order to recruit the RB position, I hope we play 2/3 backs every game and demonstrate that we won't just play one and run them into the ground.
