I think we end up with at least one from Webb/Putnam/Bell
Staff was not happy he came to the cookout for only 30 minutes before going to Tuscaloosa. I bet if the staff finds someone similar or better they will go in a different direction from him.

Any word on the Patterson kid? Is T-Will still after him?
Never been truly after him. Due to a major injury last year AU & other schools wanted to see him camp before going after him. Probably has to have a big & healthy SR year for AU to go after him. Clemson is trending per a google search.

TigerPaw,

I like the positive thoughts on the line. Putnam would be a huge catch, and didnt we hear he could get a look at tackle?

Olaseni is originally from England, betcha he played quite a bit of futbol as a kid and has some nice footwork and agility, he certainly is a mountain of a man.

Im glad Clark is decommiting, we have quite a few bodies on the roster on offensive line that will never have meaningful snaps as it is.

JLee says Andy Boykin might decommit tonight. UGA is a big reason why

I would of taken him with the Wayna and OP package deal.

Don't blame staff for trying

Long way to go. Want to keep him because he'll grow into a DT and we need DTs

And this is why I pay very little attention to commits for classes other than the next class up.

I wish I was as confident as everyone else in O-line recruiting. Behind our starters we have very little quality depth imo. I have to think Jakai Clark is going to Tenn which means I doubt Wanya will flip, I don't think we will get Putnam unless FSU has a bad season, and What E just said about Bell isn't encouraging (That he stayed 30 mins)... So if we miss on those names will it be time to panic? We are doing great everywhere else, but it won't matter if we don't have a quality O-line.

We can get the uncomitted guys that just hit puberty if that swings the needle for you. Hope not.

KN put up an insider this afternoon

- He added 2 more names to visitor list: 3* RB Tahj Gary & 2020 4* RB Tank Bigsby

- KN says Pappoe will not be the only 5* in attendance. Says will have more complete list tomorrow

- Not ready to put in a CB just yet but after speaking with a number of sources (including some AU commits) thinks AU is in a really good spot with 4* OG William Putnam. FSU still the #1 threat. Before his visit for BCW, Noles had a large lead but that changed after visit. Horton/Grimes have been lead guys on this recruitment. Will OV for LSU game

- KN says no matter what happens with possible decommit (talking about Jakai Clark) it will not affect Pappoe's commitment status. He's one of the strongest commits currently

- 4* ATH Mark-Antony Richards likes hearing that Shaun Shivers could have an early impact since he's also from South FL. Apparently Richards has some family in Macon, GA as well. This is an AU/MIA battle

- AU still waiting on 4* Buck Derick Hall & 3* DT LeDarrius Cox to pull the trigger. Staff still feels good with both. However, MSST confidence has grown some the longer Hall waits. He still maintains AU is his leader. His mom says he's waiting because he wants to be 100% sure before committing & can shut down his recruitment. As for Cox, KN thinks it's more when not if he flips to AU.

Contrary to my earlier negativity I'm glad we are staying in touch with Tajh Gary. I saw him some last year and really liked him. I figured he would be a much bigger recruit this year.

Well Boykin is still committed per KN but it doesn't sound great. I will say Boykin keeps harping his relationship with Rodney Garner is big. Even if he does open things back up, I think that will keep AU in it till the end

this kid looks legit. Put a number 27 jersey on him and he would look identical to Nick Chubb

Have watched Boykin and spoken with some Troup Co teammates (one is headed to Bama) and here is the rub on Boykin. He has flashes of great play, but doesn’t accept coaching very well to this point. He gets in games, and makes the same mistakes he has always made. He is such a great athlete at his size though that he gets away with it in HS. Everyone still wants him of course. Garner won’t put up with it. Ask Cowart.

You're supposed to wait until he actually de-commits to play the "we didn't want him anyway" card.
