Supposedly nothing has changed & AU is still considered the team to beat just haven't been able to get him back on campus. Starting to remind me some of Matthew Hill's recruitment. Kept waiting on him to commit & kept not taking visits or pushing things back. I think AU still feel good about Sheffield

When the early signing period was announced, I saw it as an advantage for the schools. Sure you will always hold a spot for those vaunted 5 stars, but the bulk of the four stars would have to make a choice, then it would make it easier to narrow your focus on the remaining targets, not so much hat switching and you are SOS on a target.
I gotta tell you Auburn seems to have been WELL prepared for this change. It may just be me, but we certainly seem to be in the hunt for many higher rated targets earlier than in quite a few years.
Kudos to the staff.
Now if we can only bring in some OTs........

You can add 4* LB Christian Harris to BCW visitor list as well according to 247. AU probably has some work to do on this one but this will be his 2nd visit to AU this year which means he's at least giving AU a hard look

Also pretty shitty news, SECCountry is shutting down at end of June which means no more free crootin info from Benjamin Wolk or film rooms by Justin Ferguson

I agree. Wolk was just starting to really come into his prime as his relationships with the recruits were really coming along strong. He was just starting to surpass Neihbur as far as credible information is concerned. I think he is able to relate to the recruits in a way that none of the other recruiting analysts were able to. I might actually consider paying money for whichever site grabs him.

Excellent analogy. I think his Mom had him slow his roll just a tad, to make sure he was doing the right thing. The fact he hasn’t been anywhere since she was at AU makes me feel like errthing gonna be alright!

Also, FYI, I was in the hospital several times lately. CHF and pulmonary issues. I have days where I don’t remember anything I do. I am still the same arsehole as always, but do have days that I don’t remember due to hypoxia. My oxygen levels get real low and I do things I don’t ever remember. Not asking for a free pass, because I am what I am. But maybe it helps explain things at times. I am still the same old arsehole as always! Just letting you that I likely never remember why!
