2013 defense helped us win 7 or so games by a TD or less, but wasn’t opportunistic enough in their last three or four games of the season. With last year’s defense, that team would’ve won.

I like QB's that go fast, and score TDs!!
BUT, on a recruiting related note, I think we have put ourselves right there with Clemson for Booth. They may still lead, but the tone of things seems to be good for us, IMHO.

KN put up a recruiting insider this morning. Quick summary
- Sounds like everyone good to go academically in the 2018 class. Most will move in May 26 but 1-2 might enroll later in the summer (I think Schwartz has already said he will come in later so he can run some more track events). Arryn Siposs won't come until July 11th due to being an international student
- 4* OG William Putnam plans to be at BCW
- AU plans to visit 4* OT Darius Thomas out of ARK in the near future. KN says too soon to know what this means for his recruitment
- 3* DE Colby Wooden is also expected at BCW. He's a top target for both AU & CLEM. Plans to have decision in August
- KN says there was a lot of chatter from other programs who thought 4* WR George Pickens could be flippable. That's changed. For now after recent trips to AU, other team's sources are matching KN's sources that Pickens is very solid to AU

This has a chance to be one of the most stacked BCW visitors lists.
All AU commits (sans Bo Nix as Elite 11 is that weekend)

4* OG Will Putnam
4* Buck Derick Hall
4* OG Keiondre Jones

Some other possibles are 5* LB Nakobe Dean, 4* DL Nathan Pickering & 4* LB Vonta Bentley. Would not be surprised to see 4* LB Donte Starks or 4* RB John Emery make the trip either. I am sure missing some other confirmed visitors but you get the gist
