Would suck if it cost us Gouraige but Hand has put terrible results, particularly in pass pro, for several years now. If we can make a good hire this should be good long term.

We absolutely need to finish strong at the OL position.

At this point we are gonna have to hope for a grad transfer or something or hit up some JUCO next year.

Ive often wondered why we dont try McClain in a TE/HB position. He is one of the ten fastest on the team, and a load. A hell of a wasted talent right now.
He doesn’t have 3 years left or anything.

This happens every year with Gus, I get pissed at the end, watch the coverage on signing pissed from 7am on. Then somehow we sign 2 or 3 real good players at the end. Dont know how early signing will affect this year but we will pull a couple out of our arse on signing day.

Well that blows. KN’s and Wolk’s CB pages have been bookmarked for a while now.

hard to be great in pass protection when there's not a left tackle on the team when you're hired

He had 2 years to recruit a LT, he signed Ashley, he just came in like 30 lbs over weight and out of shape. Hand was hot garbage at Penn St before he came here and he was not that good at AU. I think he knew he needed to get our or there was a good chance he was gone next year.

So apparently now Quay Walker is returning to his original plan to OV to UGA this weekend. I actually think that's kinda good news because team that gets Walker last probably wins. We in line now to have last visit

Also Olaijah Griffin planning to OV to Bama this weekend. McCreary no longer expected to visit Bama this weekend

Has he really done much to fix that problem though? We have Ashley and who else?

In Hand's defense, as a recruiter, he did bring in Troxell, Ashley and Brahms (also BroHamm seems like a big time player). All 3 of those guys were highly coveted, national recruits. Ashley and Brahms both around the top 50 and Troxell a top 150 guy

"it's Hands fault he didn't have an SEC caliber left tackle on the team when he had a month to recruit his first class and didn't sign a TF ready to start in the SEC"
