Quick update on D.T Stephens.
“I have a visit set up to Florida on November 18th and also Florida State on December 2nd.”

https://recruitgeorgia.com/dantavian-stephens-2018-sleeper-know/

I think his recruitment is going to pick up as more people see his film. Being in the same region as Tutt has to help get some eyes on him as well and like I said from the games and film I've seen he's every bit on par with Tutt.

Also as a long time lurker thanks for all the updates TigerPaw. You make it easy to keep up with recruiting.

This amazes me. We seem to always sign a good punter and he plays as a freshman then is benched for a walk on the next year.

How we don't have 5* RBs lining up to play for us astounds me

I mean RBs want the ball but I don't know if they want it as much as Gus rides his guys given what we know about RBs and longevity.

Plus you know if you aren't the guy that becomes the favorite you will never get on the field.

If we had more than one healthy difference maker in the the backfield, things would be different.

It appears we’re destined to never have Pettway and KJ healthy at the same time.

Atmosphere at Auburn resonates with recruits (247)
quote:

No. 10 Auburn dominated the No. 1 team in the country Georgia on Saturday in front of a huge group of touted recruits inside Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The Tigers rolled to a 40-17 victory keeping their own College Football Playoff hopes alive.

“Great Environment!!!” Top247 running back and 247Sports’s No. 1 ranked recruit in the state of Alabama Harold Joiner said. He was one of the first prospects Gus Malzahn met with following the win.

Blue-chippers in the crowd including receiver Justyn Ross and offensive lineman Trey Hill. Auburn is currently hosting a pair of official visitors in U.S. Army All-American cornerback Christian Tutt, who the Tigers will have an excellent shot to land, and safety pledge Jamien Sherwood.

"Crazy," Tutt said regarding the atmosphere.

In addition to those two, many of Auburn’s commits from a class 247Sports ranks No. 19 was also on campus.

"The craziest game I’ve been at," offensive line commit Kameron Stutts said. "The stadium was absolutely rocking, and so was the locker room."

"The atmosphere was crazy," Auburn offensive line commit Jalil Irvin said. "In all the games I have been to this was the most electric atmosphere I have seen. I love Auburn, it's a special place."

Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham completed 16-of-23 passes for 214 yards and three touchdowns, one of them a 55-yard score to Kerryon Johnson who also racked up 32 carries for 167 yards.

The Tigers held Georgia to just 199 total yards including their outstanding rushing attack to just 46 yards on the ground on 32 carries.

“I had fun and I enjoyed the atmosphere,” four-star 2018 offensive guard Tank Jenkins said. “It was great the way they played. The team they don’t give up and they are a family, more like brothers!”

Auburn hosted several high-rated 2019 recruits.

“The atmosphere was amazing,” Buford (Ga.) High Top247 2019 running back Derrian Brown said. “it was loud and it was fun watching the Eagle fly and them boys eat out there, it was great. The fans are such nice people also.”

"My family and I enjoyed the game," four-star 2019 receiver Quinton Torbor said. "The atmosphere was electrifying. My second time visiting Jordan-Hare Stadium and it just keeps getting better and better."

Many of the country’s best 2020s were also witnesses.

“Man it was absolutely an unreal atmosphere,” Top247 2020 quarterback Harrison Bailey said. “I loved the game. I was shook by how great they played.”

“The atmosphere was super electric!” Top247 2020 linebacker Kevin Swint said. “The crowd sparked everything. The best stadium that I have been in. Auburn will be rising on my recruiting list! There wasn’t a time the crowed wasn’t into it.”

Stay tuned as reaction continues to roll in from Auburn.

Steve Wiltfong now thinks AU is team to beat for 4* CB Christian Tutt, 4* OG Trey Hill and 2019 4* RB Derrian Brown

Sounds like tonight was a HUGE win for recruiting as well

4* LB Quay Walker also says AU got a shot at flipping him. He won't sign early with Bama

I wonder what Fields thought of the game

Atmosphere tonight was incredible. Glad we had a large host of recruits there. Hopefully we'll get a commit or 2 soon
