I'd really like to see Joiner in this class. He has all the talent in the world.

I agree. Can you imagine how dynamic this class could be if Joiner and Ross jumped aboard? Chip Lindsey (assuming he doesn't go to South Alabama) would have tons of options with those two in the lineup.

Why would Kelly affect the quality of the Jimbo hire?

Because I personally think Chip Kelly is the best coaching hire available right now and he's a perfect fit for Fla and the Type of athletes they can recruit. I think Jimbo is a solid coach, but ultimately wouldn't be anymore successful than Gus. Auburn treading water - Florida returning to a power in the SEC east and possibly nationally... to me that would make it look like a bad hire, even if it necessarily isn't.

Heard from someone that Boulware just looked at online recruiting sites and started calling #1 on down until he found interest

Boulware was a complete a-hole, but the guy did coach coverage like a damn champ. I hated that people credited him w Byrum/Parkey/Clarks success since he had very limited responsibility. That said, I underestimated how good coverage units were

So KN spoke with the Australian punter training program that guy works through and they said Siposs has committed to AU. Basically they target schools they think would be a good fit for one of their prospects and once they get offer they commit. KN says still waiting on confirmation from AU side that commitment was accepted

Sounds like it's happening. AU wants him. KN says not putting on official commit list yet just because of all paperwork that goes with international recruits but sounds like AU will sign him

KN says Richard Jibunor plans to commit tomorrow around 1 CT. Apparently Jibunor took another quick trip to AU recently. Looking really good for the Tigers

KN made punter article free

Australian punter is Auburn bound, coach says (247)
quote:

Arryn Siposs, an Australian punter with Prokick Australia, plans to be an Auburn Tiger, his coach told AuburnUndercover.com early Wednesday morning.

"We spoke to the coaches today and he was offered and committed straight away," said Nathan Chapman, owner and punting coach for Prokick Australia. "John Smith is my partner and head kicking coach. We had been targeting Auburn for awhile to place a guy there. We knew we had to have a great one for them. And here he is."

When contacted, Siposs confirmed to AuburnUndercover.com he intends to attend Auburn.

For this to become an official commitment, lots of paperwork must be filed. Also, he'll visit in December. Until then, we are holding off on including him on the commit list.

Siposs posted this on his Instgram:

Siposs, who turns 25 on Saturday, is a former professional Australian rules footballer.

According to Chapman, Prokick Australia has placed 60-plus players on American college football rosters. One of them, Tom Hornsey, won the Ray Guy Award as the country's best punter while playing for Memphis.

Hornsey's coach for part of his time at Memphs: Larry Porter, who today is an Auburn assistant.

"(Siposs) is committed and will most definitely be going to Auburn by August 2018 at this stage," Chapman said. "We recruit guys a little differently here, and that means we look for one offer from a school that we know suits the academics and the environment and the ability levels of the student and then we commit. That’s it. Done. Getting lots of offers makes no sense. If it fits, be humble and accept it."
