I don't see why RBs need to see us run the ball good this season. If anything, even when all else fails we still focus on our running attack. Peyton Barber had no business getting a 1000 yards with his abilities, but he did while asplitting the carries with other backs. Then you throw in the fact that in 2013 our offense led the whole nation in rushing and twice our RBs led the SEC in rushing recently, so you would think that Running Backs would be getting in line to play here.

I lied one more. 4* RB Devan Barrett plans to commit soon. KN thinks possibly this week. There is a chance we land Bishop & Barrett this week so we will see

KN put up an insider last night. Nothing too earth shattering but here's quick summary

- We nailed the Tray Bishop visit. His family wants him at AU & there is chance he commits Monday. KN says a lot of credit goes to Scott Fountain his area recruiter & also to the chagrin of Arkansas fans Christi Malzahn spent a lot of time with the Bishop family & apparently made a big positive impression. UF/UGA are still contenders but we look to be leading again now

- Brandon Martin refused to comment on his decommitment but KN says AU sources feel really good about him still being apart of the class. KN also says Martin looks a legit 6'4" 215 lbs. He stayed the night in AU

- Things are looking real positive with Isaiah Buggs. Apparently he has a great relationship with Rodney Garner & a few of our current players most notably Devaroe Lawrence due to their similar paths aka JUCO. He also thinks he could start day 1 on our DL in 2017. LSU of course is still the team to watch but really liking our chances. Garner has a stellar record of landing JUCO DL targets

- AU thinks the longer 4* WR Henry Ruggs recruitment goes the greater our chances are. KN does hint at this being fact that bama doesn't have room. Imo even if we did get his commitment this fall, I wouldn't be sure of it till NSD in case someone in bama's class didn't qualify or flipped. I think this is a kid getting his #2 option ready but wouldn't be the worse scraps to get for AU

- Things went awesome with 4* S Xavier McKinney. Clemson & UGA still top teams with Clemson being team to beat but we are in that group now. Apparently he fit in real well

- 3* Jordyn Peters has decided to take his time but AU still thinks very good chance he lands in this class this fall. They don't care about the ratings apparently he wowed at camp and they want him

- Auburn/Miami share lead with DeAndre Wilder. Being close to his dad in Atlanta is a big draw & KN believes his dad wants him at AU right now. Question is do we take him over KJ Britt or Tyler Taylor. Right now KN thinks we would take the first 2 to jump on board of that bunch

- Still an AU/UGA battle for KJ Britt but apparently his family prefer AU over UGA at this time. His family went home but he stayed the night showing how comfortable everyone is with him at AU. Sounds like things are trending the right direction for AU & Britt

- 3* DL Coynis Miller is already shaping up to be an instate battle. Both AU/AL have offered & are recruiting him hard. I have read in a few places that this is a kid that will probably fly up the ranking ala Tadarrian Moulty (his teammate) this past summer

- 4* RB Devan Barrett tweeted last night that a commitment is coming soon. KN has heard it could be this week. An interesting note is that his family really like Tennessee so that is probably our main competition. Also UNC in the hunt but AU optimistic of their chances


Would be nice to finish off the summer with commitments from Tray Bishop & Devan Barrett. What's crazy about Bishop is UGA is recruiting him at WR, UF at S & AU at QB. Shows what a gifted athlete he is

3* 2018 RB Shaun Shivers names AU his leader. WV still considered a major threat

Guessing Stephen Davis Jr finally got test score or grade needed. KN just announced he is coming to auburn

Good news keeps rolling. 4* DE Markaviest Bryant made suprise visit today & has delayed his commitment. Was considered lock to UGA but AU/AL/CLEM all making him think on it. He is cousins to Montravius Adams. Still have a lot of work to do but sounds like we are still in the hunt
