The LSU mods literally think they get everyone.

For all I know he'll go to LSU. But when it's 50/50, go with the fan base that pays you

Markaviest Bryant

Better known as “Big Cat”, the four-star DE/OLB from Crisp County has been quiet the last few weeks with any interviews. He left Auburn on Sunday after an official visit and opted not to speak with reporters on the scene. This one has gotten close and that is no fluff. Most sources thought it was Auburn/Georgia battle until the last few days and really on Tuesday morning. There started to be more about the Tigers and the Tigers from LSU. Trusting some sources here with this one late and changing my pick from UGA on Tuesday to morning to another SEC West school. Kipp Adams will be on location for 247Sports for a 11:15 est decision. I have gone back and forth the last 3-4 hours on this.

Prediction: LSU

Confidence Level: Low

- Rusty Mansell on UGA 247

Ya it does. LSU sources have been saying it's a Tiger battle for a few days now. It would be irritating to see LSU come in and steal 2 of our top remaining targets tomorrow especially after watching Bama take everything else from them

I don't know what he does but he is one of the better closers out there on the recruiting trail. Arden Key might have been in orange & blue if O hadn't arrived at LSU and visited him for so long he decided not to visit AU

Really missing Richt. His inept recruiting saved our asses for a decade

I mean I get he's a great recruiter but they would have come out of nowhere for Taylor and Bryant in the last two or three weeks when they have been on our and UGA's radar for months.

Honestly, neither are game changing. I am a bit rustled about the kid going to Stanford, but I understand.

I'll regret saying this but I truly don't believe Taylor will be a SEC starter. I thought it was absurd that he was rated better than Rice

I viewed him as depth, not a thumper. Bryant would be icing. I might sound too posi, but JS filled our gaping hole at QB, and out OL haul is impressive. I would have liked to have seen another elite DT with Moultry converting to DE. Solid class overall.

The Ryan Johnson miss stings but I understand why he did it. Bryant would be nice. I liked Taylor's potential but he seems hellbent on finding the easiest way to the field.

The truth of the matter is the bigger misses (outside of Johnson) happened earlier imo. Markail Benton, Tarik Black, Tamorrion Terry, CJ Avery, Tray Bishop, Devon Hunter, MJ Webb and Isaiah Buggs are all guys that would have helped elevate this class that we got beat out on for a variety of reasons. These last 3 misses rub salt in the wounds but the real damage was done earlier

I don't however dislike this class. It did what it had to do and not much else. We had to get a day 1 guy for QB. We had to get OL help and capitalize on LB talent. We had to bring in more RB depth. We did that. It would have been nice to load up on the safety spot so have some guys in pipeline for 2018 and land more DL talent but I don't think they were must haves this class

2018 class must strike big on WR, DL & S

I don't understand us not taking a pure edge rusher 2 years in a row. I know we missed on some like Ardennes Key and looks like Bryant but we should have taken at east a few 3*s

We can't get to the qb with these 260+ dudes without blitzing

Looking at the state of AL on 247 for 2018, we seem to already be all over that.

I like where we stand early but this time last year I thought we would get Markail Benton, Will Ignont, Ryan Johnson and had a shot at AJ Terrell so hard to get too excited just yet

Guy I really want instate next year is 4* CB Jalyn Armour-Davis. He likes us a bunch early but we will see if Greg Brown can get it done next cycle

I am curious to see what random names pop up tomorrow. I have to think we sign 1-2 guys that aren't really on the radar otherwise we have 5 open spots. I am guessing Truesdell gets offer but thought it would have happened by now.

KN has NSD predictions up. They are not hopeful

4* DE Markaviest Bryant - KN says too much LSU smoke to ignore. He thinks it's real close and still wouldn't be surprised if he landed at AU or UGA but for now gives low confidence pick for LSU

4* LB Tyler Taylor - Sounds all LSU because he can get on field earlier

3* DT Tyrone Truesdell - If AU offers he will sign but KN starting to think we aren't going to offer

KN says don't be surprised if 1-2 names pop up tomorrow unexpectedly. He mentioned 4* DE Jarez Parks but honestly sounds like he has no idea who we might end up with

I think we should all pitch in and grab a box of lube for the athletic department and coaching staff. They're getting fricked hard right now by rival schools.
