The only thing that is pointless around here is trying to convey to a bunch of mouthbreathers that a backup plan isn't needed if the position isn't a need.
From now on will only speak to you in spiderman memes. I feel this will help raise the quality of your posts in this thread

So do us all a favor and stop

Nah I'm good. I'd rather talk about our recruiting class without a bunch of goobers trying to convince me how great our class really is despite its growing list of 11 3 stars and counting.

KN says that 4* OT Kendall Randolph is likely to officially visit AU though it doesn't look like much will come of it. He's committed to Bama

I log on and see several new pages on the recruiting thread. I foolishly think, wow we must have some big news!
Then I see pages of you guys squabbling about if the class sucks or not.
Can't we make that argument after signing day?

To be fair, if "pathetic" in your opinion begins with the #8 class then there isn't much room for conversation. Great can't be very common in your standards and there seems to be nothing in between for you.
I'm not responding to you to take a shot at you but you must realize that your stances prevent folks from engaging you in a reasonable conversation, right?

He thinks everybody is a backup plan. If the player isn't in the top 25 in the country, he's backup plan.
Said by nobody ever.
But Alex Jackson, Jordan Tucker, Malik Willis, Salvatore Conella, Noah Iggy, etc. These are backup plans.
Also, while I recognize the kicker and long snapper is bringing down the class ratings, I also recognize that any recruiting class worth a damn wouldn't put a kicker and LS on a scholly in same year.

The LS isn't going on scholarship this year. He's blueshirting. That means he is counted on next year's while able to participate.
So by your own definition this class may actually be worth a damn. That is, until you move your goal posts.

Noah Iggy isn't a backup plan, kid is legit and we've recruited him from the beginning I believe

Gun shot changed everything for Army All-American Moultry (247)
Very excited about this kid. Hoping he gets that 5th star this week with a big week
quote:
The opportunity to play football can be taken away in an instant, and it certainly was from Moultry after he was shot in the leg in July of 2014 at Central Park in Birmingham, Ala. A terrifying incident going down at a place his parents told him continuously not to hang out at.
Moultry missed his entire sophomore season because he was “in the wrong place at the wrong time” but at that time the nation’s No. 1 inside linebacker per 247Sports was just happy to be alive.
Moultry was on the phone with his father as bullets were flying, aimed at the guys he was hanging out with. Guys Moultry sees occasionally but no longer has dialogue with.
“My dad ran every red light to get to me,” Moultry said. He thought the shots were too far away to be a factor and then he heard someone say run. As he went to take off, he was hit.
The ambulance arrived. Moultry’s not sure who called. The guy who pulled the trigger has never been caught.
“The bullet didn’t hurt,” he said. Moultry pulled up his pant leg to reveal a big bump on his shin, a daily reminder to make sound decisions. “I just prayed I could play high school football again.”
Moutly changed as a person the second that bullet pierced his flesh. He went from a disobedient immature youngster to a guy who now wants to major in engineering at Auburn and says he has a 3.7 GPA.
quote:
“They’re all like family,” Moultry said of Gus Malzahn and company. “I know football is temporary and I wanted a place where the people were like family.”
Alabama was the school he grew up rooting for and an offer from the Crimson Tide was an eye-opener in February, but it didn’t feel right when he committed in May, instead electing to play for a Tigers staff who had been there from the beginning of the process.
“I told every college I’m different,” Moultry said. “I told them if you don’t recruit me like family we’re not going to have a bond. Auburn did that from the beginning and still do now. Alabama didn’t recruit me as much at first.”
Ranked by 247Sports as the nation’s No. 50 player overall, Moultry is one of the jewels in an Auburn class that ranks No. 8 nationally.
“This year they played great defense throughout the year and we’ll get even better with the linebacker group we have coming in,” Moultry said, adding that he’s excited about what Jarrett Stidham may bring to the offense.

8 isn't going to last for one. The players that I accounted for, Ashley, the linebackers, and Stidham are the only reason why we are number eight. Barrett is okay too. The rest are middle of the pack, or below. Not very solid. Can only get worst if we don't get Devon.

KN has a recruiting insider up on 5* DT Aubrey Solomon. Honestly the kid sounds a bit like a headcase. He says AU is trending but wishes AU would communicate to him more. Well apparently AU guys have been frustrated by how hard it is to get a hold of him a sentiment shared by other programs apparently. As a result we speak with his mom more than him but that could end up paying off as his mom has a big role in his recruitment.
Bama is the clear leader right now but far from over. He is going to officially visit on January 20th. I have a feeling this is gonna be a roller coaster finish with this kid with more teams to be named leaders down the road. Hopefully Garner can win over mama before NSD

What is the excuse? I'm forming an opinion, he is trolling his own thread with childish shite.
Yes, Noah is a backup plan.
Jones, Weagle said LS and K was dragging the ratings down, not me.
Im just here wading in the board's bullshite.

At one point Auburn may have been the team to beat for Hunter, but with Ole Miss hiring Wesley McGriff away from the Tigers that has changed things for the four-star.
“Auburn it was good,” Hunter said. “I like the school a lot but with Coach Crime Dog leaving with him going to Ole Miss, it didn’t bring them down but it’s a little shake because I don’t know the DB coach. But I still love the school, family environment, they always compete, that’s one thing I like about Auburn.”
From VIP article on Devon Hunter. Hoping we nail this DB hire
