Either my eyes suck or these players aren't listed on the official visit this weekend. I'm sitting at The Hound and Williams and Horton are hosting two recruits, but can't tell which ones from the official visit list. I'm also 4 bourbons deep.

Staff visited 4* LB Nate McBride today. He is tentatively scheduled to visit AU January 13th, but KN thinks he could commit to UGA before then. This one has always been uphill battle but props to T-WILL for even making this one a little interesting

Gus and Lashlee doing in-home with Stidham tomorrow. Supposed to seal the deal with this one. Auburn obvious favorite with no clear cut number 2. Stidham told A&M mod he's might not announce next week but he very possibly could.
5 star DT Aubrey Soloman expected to OV Auburn Jan 20th. Auburn is trending up but behind UGA and Michigan.
Fountain visited Calvin Ashley. Went very well. Visiting Maryland this weekend. Could shite things down soon which would be good news for us.
Steele and Garner visited Tyree Johnson (A&M commit). He'll OV on Jan 13
Leatherwood visit going well. Will know more tomorrow after it ends.
Monty Rice did arrive in Auburn today. Might not visit UGA this weekend but KN expects him too. UGA leads

Really hoping visit to Stidham this week ends it. Would be huge for recruiting momentum to get him on board

Albertville QB is early enrolling as a preferred walk-on (not sure what the preferred means). If he can put some weight on, it will be interesting to see what kind of work he can do down there.

Preferred walk-on means he doesn't have to try out for the team. He just doesn't get a scholarship.

4* LB Tyler Taylor cancelled his visit. Will be back in AU in January. No idea if that means we think we are getting Rice or if it's just to get him to come January 20th when all our other top dogs will be there

Even if we miss on both it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to end up with the ginger kid from Spanish Fort. All-time leading tackler in Alabama HS history, and if we our offer doesn't become commitable then he likely goes to Iowa who throughout Ferentz's tenure have had a knack for indetifiying diamonds on defense (Ferentz and their DC compared Johnston to current Hawkeye LB and Butkus finalist Josey Jewell and past player Chad Greenway)

If we are throwing a scholarship at a fringe player, give it to Thompson so at least our baseball team will be better.
